Yes, IIT Gandhinagar conducts a Personal Interview round. Candidates can be asked to appear for the institute-level entrance test. In order to apply, all applications must fill the form online. Candidates wanting to apply for more than one specialisation need to submit separate application for each specialisation. If you belong to the General AI category, admission is available but only to the less preferred specialisations, like B.Tech. in Materials Engineering. This course had a cutoff of  10372 in the first round, which later increased to 11066 in the last round.
