If you get a chance in future, then take admission here.

Placements: Placements in our branch are not much better, but considering the scenario of the civil branch, then the placements are better for that branch here than in other colleges. About 60% of students got placed in reputed companies. The highest salary package was grabbed by one student, which was nearly 17 LPA. The average salary package offered was 7.67 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was nearly 5 LPA. Top recruiters are from the IT sector like Wipro, L&T Construction and TATA Motors. From...

I suggest opting for it if you got a chance to get admission here.

Placements: I am a 1st-year student of electronics and communication at IIT BBS. The placement scenario in 2020 is pretty much good, and above 160 students received job offers. The placement percentage is increasing sharply as compared to the previous year. More than 87% of the undergraduate students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA which is grabbed by 10 students of IIT Bhubaneswar. The average salary package offered is 15.85 LPA, and students also got PPOs from big companies. Many ...

Really appreciable college.

Placements: In civil engineering, it is around 50 % placement in core as well as non-core sectors. The highest package was 15 Lacs in an IT company and the lowest is 5-6 Lacs and average is 8-9 Lacs. Top companies are Goldman Sachs, Razopay, Master card, Amazon and PSUs. Internship percentage from my course is around 70%. It includes the companies such as Amazon, Hindustan Petroleum, Goldman Sachs and many more.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, Wi-Fi, Air conditioners, speakers and ...

Review of Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Placements in our college are good only for non-core branches. If you want to do a software job, then only take admission to this college. You will get very few companies for a core job, and mostly those companies prefer B.Tech, but not dual degree students. Companies will not allow dual degree students to attend their tests.

Infrastructure: The food served in a mess is quite good. There is 24x7 access for Wi-Fi. All classrooms are air-conditioned. There are 5 volleyball courts, 4 basketball courts and 1 hockey ...

I am quite satisfied with my college.

Placements: About 97% of students were placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was about 44 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are Amazon, Flipkart and Goldman Sachs. About 80% of students get internships from our course in companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good here. There is a Wi-Fi system, and classrooms are big enough. Labs are good, and the library contains a sufficient number of books. The quality of faci...

I personally feel that aerospace at IIST is far superior to civil in IIT Bhuvaneshwar. One reason for this is that the former is well supported by ISRO and employment in correct field is almost guaranteed of course civil at Bhubaneswar will also enable you to get employment but then if you are interest is to work in an area which is challenging to the mind then aerospace engineering is the way you should go ahead. Best wishes to you.

If you get at any of these 5 IITs then that should be your 1st preference:
BOMBAY
DELHI
MADRAS
KANPUR
KHARAGPUR
If you dont get in the above then join NIT TRICHY.
Let kme tell you that NIT TRICHY is better than all the new IITs.
So, I would recommend you to think on similar lines and decide as to what combination might work out the best for you. One thing I would strongly advise is not to make decisions based on emotions or attachments related to an institute, parents (with reference to staying near them) or friends. I know a few people who chose IIT just for the sake of being in IIT with no regards to the branch, when they had the option of getting a much better one at a lesser institute and they definitely regretted making that choice.
I would be glad to offer any insights about NITT in general and EEE, in particular if you ever feel the need.
