Although IIT Ropar is one of the newer IIT institutions established by the Government of India, the fact remains that admissions to the institute still remain particularly competitive among Indian students. Step 1: Register for the JEE Main exams.

Step 2: Score well in the JEE Main exams and JEE Advanced. 

Step 3: Appear for the counselling. 

Step 4: Pay the fee at the selected and the allotted college. 

The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.
