IPCW DU. A hidden gem in the north campus life.

Placements: The college campus is really impressive and very beautiful. Kapil party placement criteria have certain parameters and overall provides good placements. Highly developed tech industries organisations deal with the placements within the college of women.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very aesthetic and very lively. Inside the college, different events are organized by different societies.. The canteen is not bad, really great, but manageable overall. Really great and friendly.

Faculty: It is really good and impressive and very systematic too. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in their own subjects. The course curriculum is also very relevant and updated to the day to day scenarios. The exams are moderate leveled and not that hard for the students.

A college with aesthetic and hidden gems.

Placements: In my course (Political Science), placements are not something that has been given, but in other courses like Economics, B.Com, English, and MMMC, placements are very good, and most students get them. Internships are available for every field of study. At the end of the month, the information circulates, and whoever wants can fill out the form. In my coursework, roles like HR, head of team, and many more have been offered.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. We have many classrooms where classes are held, and the best thing is that they are clean. We have 2 hostels, one is inside the college, which is non-AC, and the other one has AC. Both hostels provide good food, and it's fun to be in the hostel.

Faculty: Events in my course are organized by our politics team and with our affiliated teachers. They manage everything very well. These events are sometimes alumni, or sometimes it's conferences on a specific topic. Apart from our course, the college organizes interactive and knowledgeable events and competitions that happen every time, so it is fun.

Other: IPCW has a truly marvelous and peaceful campus, filled with the laughter and warmth of girls, making it feel innocent and unique compared to other colleges. The senior professors are supportive and helpful, though the management office can sometimes be inefficient. The college is a safe space where girls freely participate in grand events and festivals, giving their best in every activity. Scholarships are provided by DU, including merit-based ones. While only a few societies are highly active, IPCW is ideal for those who want to study and enjoy college life in a calm, beautiful environment.

I'm dissatisfied with overall everything. Campus is pretty.

Placements: I'm in political science hons course and there are very few opportunities for placements in the specific field most of the offers are for B.Tech, B.Com, data analysis, and more. The highest CTC is 24 LPA and the lowest CTC is 2 LPA-3 LPA. No one got placed from my department as far as I know because there are very less opportunities for placements, particularly in political science. Top companies are Deloitte and KPMG but the CTC they are offering is very low.

Infrastructure: I would say library is very good and one could find most of the books even for competitive exams like CAT, CA, etc. There are many books for Hindi medium students as well. Library is very well-maintained. Classrooms and labs are average, not very bad, and not very good but manageable. There are projectors in classrooms but most of them don't work. Wi-Fi is available but again it doesn't work unless you're sitting very close to the outer. In hostel, there is no proper network and the food in mess is below average.

Faculty: Most teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Teaching quality is also okayish but I feel some teachers are very much knowledgeable but they don't know how to convey those thoughts to their students. Syllabus is relevant but does not make one industry-ready especially not in field like political science, history, geography, etc. Semester exams are moderate to high-level difficult depending upon different subjects. Pass percentage is high.

Very beautiful college. Faculty members are good. North and South campuses divided is just in minds.

Placements: Not very active. Needs major improvements in outreach, planning, and engagement. I didn't even hear of it since you have to approach the placement cell. However, some of my classmates were engaged with it but there is no concrete information as to what it provides.

Infrastructure: The college is very beautiful and it is an old legacy. It is reflected in its infrastructure. The library has all the books from the oldest to the latest. There are two hostels along with the canteen. Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and friendly. We get prepared for semester exams in classrooms. The political science is the most interesting subject that provides you with so much that is relevant or your daily life itself. This college is to go for.

Other: Everything is worth it in this college. The scenic beauty, the flowers, the building, the area, and the overall college life are to die for. It is a memory of a lifetime.

There is no college life, but it is good for academics.

Placements: The placement cell of my college is inactive, and rarely any recruiters visit the campus. There is no placement scope for Political science Hons students. However, Economics Honours students get placements sometimes. Many of the professors are pass-out students of the college, so if we are interested in the teaching field, then we can consider the option of this college.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are big enough with clean washrooms. Drinking water is available at different parts of the college. Classrooms are not air-conditioned. However, the computer labs and the library are air-conditioned. The hostel food is hygienic, and sanitation is maintained throughout the campus and hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and their role is not limited just to teaching in the classroom. We have been assigned a teacher as our mentor who guides us about our career and clears our non-academic queries too. The course is in accordance with the syllabus provided by the university, and it is very informative. Exams are not very difficult to pass but they are difficult to score a good CGPA.

Other: I chose a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science for my graduation as I am a UPSC aspirant and studying political science would help me cover the syllabus for the UPSC examination. The course taught is very relevant and in accordance with the syllabus for UPSC. The college is very academically oriented. However, events and fests are not that great. The college hosts more seminars than fests.
