Kalindi College DU - The worst college ever.
Placements: In my opinion, Kalindi College is not a great choice for studying Computer Science, although the behavior of some teachers is commendable. If you are considering admission to this college, think very carefully, as it is not favorable for placements or internships. The college is primarily known for its journalism program.
Infrastructure: There are the worst washrooms, classes, and buildings. We have complained many times, but no one has responded. The ceiling is cracked and falling anytime. It is dangerous for us to be there. Amphitheatre is just a godown with a shatter. Fans are not working, no facility for sitting, just a random chair. There is no music system. Wi-Fi is not working anywhere.
Faculty: Teachers just read PDFs or share YouTube videos for study. Then why do we pay Rs. 30,000 for free resources. This is the very bad side of Indian education. They even select teachers through caste category, not through their knowledge. Recently, in the CS department new assistant professor came, and he is too good at knowledge. He taught us each topic clearly, but some teachers on the staff said to him to teach students through PDFs, but he denied. When permanent professors come, they remove the assistant professor, the permanent professor didn't even take class, she only took attendance in 10 minds and then left.
Other: Please government of India, do something about education.

My experience in kalindi college.
Placements: A number of students are placed in companies like Yes Bank, Taxmann, Reliance Jio, Sharekhan, Microsoft, Google, Chegg India, VectoScalar Technologies, and Financial Doctors. Most of the students get roles in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: The teaching faculty members are nice and experienced. The labs are good. The infrastructure is not so good as it is a very old building, but it is decent. My college does not have hostel facilities yet, but a hostel is under construction, so they will have one in the future. The library is quite good and the best place to study.
Faculty: In my computer science department, all of our teachers are PhD-experienced. They are helpful and guide us in our careers. The course is good, exams were held on time, and the paper was of a good level. In our class, the highest CGPA is 9. Semester exams are not too difficult if you are focused on what you are learning.

An Overall Experience in Kalindi.
Placements: My current batch is 2024-onwards. It's my first year here, so I am not very well aware of the placements, but I tried to discuss it with seniors, and they said it's all up to the person and how one can utilize the resources. The median salary CS Hons offers is 3 Lacs. The roles offered are: Data Analyst, Teacher, Technical Writer, Researcher, Software Engineer, Front-End Developer.
Infrastructure: The labs are good and air-conditioned, but the classrooms do not have proper infrastructure and the bathrooms are not in proper condition. There are no mirrors, and the toilet seats are not clean as well. There are fewer systems compared to students. The canteens are nice.
Faculty: The teachers are quite knowledgeable, polite, and friendly to the students. The course curriculum is a little stiff as the classes for this respective course start too early, around 8:00 am. It can make a student industry-ready if the student puts extra effort into their core subjects. The semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is around 85%.
Other: I chose the course as I had an interest in this particular course. The best thing about this course is that it offers a variety of things to learn and explore, which is required to make an individual industry-ready. It would be better if there were more practical approaches in the course than theoretical. The events are quite good. One can easily experience a lot if they are willing to.

Review of Kalindi college- University of Delhi.
Placements: The B.Sc. computer science Hons. course of this batch has approximately 55–60 students. Kalindi College does not offer any placement for the B.Sc. computer science Hons. course. The top roles offered are many but are not offered by college. The university provides summer internships to students.
Infrastructure: All the facilities, such as the computer lab, Wi-Fi connection, AC, library, and canteen, are provided and are good enough. All the facilities provided are good but the infrastructure needs to be improved. especially the condition of washrooms. The food available in the canteen and mess is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough to teach students appropriately and are knowledgeable enough to help students with their doubts. The teaching quality is also nice. The course curriculum is also relevant. Semester exams are moderate to highly difficult. Pass percentage is based on NEP criteria.

Satisfied faculty with good infrastructure.
Placements: The top 20-30% of students were placed in Computer Science through the placement cell of our college. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, with the average being 4 LPA and the lowest being 2 LPA. The top accompanying recruiters for our course are graphic designer companies and @accenture. Roles include web development, graphic design, full-stack development, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by our college is fairly good. In terms of Wi-Fi, it is provided to students, and there are three labs available with all computers in working condition. The library has two floors with all academic books, and novels are also available. The food available in the canteen is not that good, so students mostly eat outside of the college. Extra classes for sports are provided in the morning.
Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable and they help students in every phase of their life. Professors holding degrees have great knowledge about various fields. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. After studying B.Sc. (H) Computer Science, students can work in various private companies with skills. Exams are not difficult.
Other: After passing the CUET exam, students can pursue this course. The best thing is that students can compete with others from different colleges such as DTU, NSUT, or even IITs with immense skills. Things that can be improved are the projects that should be included in the main curriculum so that students can gain real-world experience. Scholarships are also provided to top-performing students.

Q:   Which college is better among Maharaja Agrasen and Kalindi College?
A:

If a choice has to be made between Maharaja Agrasen College and Kalindi College for admission to the BA programme, then both these colleges come with their plus points and serve different needs. If budget is an issue and the candidate prefers a fun-filled atmosphere of a co-ed college with all sorts of combinations of courses, then Maharaja Agrasen College would be better. But if the candidates want all-girl college with a structure in which, if the focus is on literature studies and the surrounding environment is available in a more tranquil environment, then Kalindi College can be considered. Both colleges are recognised colleges within Delhi University that stand over good academic and placement norms. Based on a few categories, the comparison between Maharaja Agrasen College and Kalindi College is given below:
