A campus with best infrastructure and crowd.
Placements: Our college provides a good number of placements to the students. All big MNCs and companies come to the college placement. The number of students who get placement is really high in number and even package is quite decent. The placement cell of the college is quite active.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is quite good and provides a dedicated reference section for distraction-free study space. There is a library with vast variety of books. Our campus is equipped with high-end Wi-Fi. The canteen provides good quality food. College even has a dedicated medical room with all the amenities.
Faculty: Professors are quite magnanimous and helpful. They are always ready to help us out in every possible way. They are quite knowledgeable in their respective field. Semester exams are moderately tough. If students have prepared well, they will surely get through it easily. Faculty members of my department are quite magnanimous.
Other: I chose this course because I was keen and super interested in literature and novels. I always feel like stories are something that makes me a complete and good human being, so I thought about turning my hobby into a passion. Our college provides a scholarship for economically weaker students.

LSR is worth getting into.
Placements: At least 40% of students get placed, and it's totally based on how skilled we are. I have heard that it's not worth getting placed as we can only expect to earn in thousand per month. But students who get placed with a package of 22 LPA are usually finance students from the B.Com or economics department, or statistics, and English is considered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college is beautiful, and ramps are available. The lift is also working, and we just won't find AC except in the library and the reference room. Wi-Fi is working, but it has low Mbps, so I would suggest making sure we carry sufficient data with us. Labs are good and functional. Wi-Fi is available with a high-speed, but that won't give us access to the full college library.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us very well. They are always available to clear our doubts. They are very approachable. Semester examinations are not difficult if we study, but in our college, class tests are given too difficult, but we will have to get a race mark for the same. The pass percentage is 45%, and they will give us a race mark if we are close to passing marks or if we are near to top.
Other: I chose this course because it is near my home, and it is convenient for me to travel. I wish canteen food could get better. Events are acceptable, and they are better, but not more than North Campus. We can expect extracurricular activities to happen every day, whether we are busy studying or participating in extracurricular activities.

It has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The course is very nice for exposure but placements are decent. They are more focused on corporate courses so English honours is not the best choice if we are looking for placements. Internships, however, are easier to find, with students working at places like The Hindu and Penguin.
Infrastructure: The academic facilities are very nice. As English honours students, we don't really need labs but the library is incredibly helpful with lots of resources. The atmosphere is also nice and it is very easy to find books. Hostels are not working as of now but the canteen is nice. Prices are affordable and the food is good as well. Washrooms are clean. Overall, the infrastructure is very nice.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. They would keep us updated about the study materials and also suggest essays to read for our exams. In our college, exams are okay and they are not very hard or very easy. We can easily pass them if we study properly.
Other: I am interested in political science, but I got this course. I did not change it because it was LSR. I mean it is nice for someone who's interested in literature. We will come across many helpful works and it's very interesting even for a person like me. The fest is nice although I wish they would invite someone famous, but it is still nice. The management is good. The campus is clean and green. The atmosphere is also very positive. It is a girl's college so it is a very nice place to be here.

Highly satisfied with everything.
Placements: 55% of students are placed in my course on average. The highest package is 4 LPA. The lowest package is 1 LPA. The average package is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are colleges like DU or translators. Around 60% of students get placed in my course. Top roles offered by the course are lecturer, teacher, and translator.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good in the college. Various facilities are available for my course like interactive discussions, etc. Wi-Fi reach and libraries are also available easily and readily. Hostel is not available for residents/ students at the moment.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is up to mark. Course curriculum is also relevant for future purpose. At least efficient to make students ready for future industry. College semester exams are average.

Best campus with best faculty members.
Placements: Though our college is well-reputed, few students get placements from our course English Hons. Mostly students from commerce department get placed in well-reputed companies. Janvi Gupta from the commerce department bagged the highest package of Rs 44.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: We are provided with good infrastructure in our college. All classrooms have projectors and whiteboards. Wi-Fi facility is also there on campus. We have one library and one reference room. Hostel on our campus has limited number of seats and only first-year students get the opportunity to stay in the hostel. The food quality at the mess is good. We also have one medical room. Our college is one of the best DU colleges in sports. 3 students from our college participated in Olympic and one received 2 medals.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are well experienced. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. They are very approachable and helpful. Our course provide us with knowledge not only related to simple novels and stories but also about historical backgrounds and various philosophies. We are marked on assignments and tests during the semester for our internals. The way our teachers teach us in classes, it seems easy to answer in final exams. More than 90% of the students pass the exams.
Other: We have Tarang (fest) in the month of March. Most students are from LSR itself. Only participants are allowed from other colleges. Sometimes tickets are given randomly to students on first cum first serve basis. We also have NOOR at Diwali. College also provides needed students with freeship and scholarships. I also got freeship. College has various other societies too.

Candidates can either apply online through the official website of CU (www.cuchd.in) or may download the Chandigarh University application form through the official website and send it to the admission office. The application fee for all the programmes is Rs 1,000.

Elective subjects are for 2-years.

Admission to B.A English(H) in DU is merit-based i.e. your 12th class marks will be considered. There is no entrance test for this course in DU.
* The percentage of your 'Best Four Subjects' (BFS) will be considered. You must include 'English' in your BFS.
* Getting into LSR with 70%
