Good placements but poor infrastructure.
Placements: We had 100% placement rate from the 2024 batch. The highest package is 50 LPA by Microsoft but it is the only offer. The lowest salary is 2.5 LPA to 12 students by VectorScaler, and the average package is 8.03 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TalentServe (7.5 LPA) with 75 offers, Accenture (4.5 LPA) with 66 offers, and ZS Associate (13.65 LPA) with 52 offers. Around 82% of students got internships with stipends varying from Rs 8,000 - Rs 20,000. Companies like Paytm, SAP Labs, and Physics Wallah for roles of software engineer.
Infrastructure: Honestly, the infrastructure of MSIT is not that great. The classrooms, labs, and library are quite old. The water in the water cooler a lot of times tastes weird. The washrooms are not at all well made. Wi-Fi only works in library or common rooms. Labs are well-equipped but quite old, they recently renovated a few labs. The quality of hostels is very moderate. Students try their best to move out and live in PGs near the college. The food quality was recently improved due to complaints made by students. Sports and game facilities are very less.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are quite helpful and they are sincere towards helping the students. I recently worked with a professor on research work and they helped me a lot. Course curriculum could definitely be revised and as few topics are irrelevant for us students to study. Exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I love computer science and always wanted to work in tech and the best part is the placements. They could revise the course work and avoid teaching not so relevant subjects to the students. Fests and events are very basic and not worth attending. The crowd academically wise is very decent and otherwise mixed crowd. College is well-connected and good for day scholars as the metro is decently close. Bus stop is just outside the college and has enough parking spaces. Not much space for extracurricular activities as the college is very much study-oriented.

I'm dissatisfied with faculty, administration, and infrastructure.
Placements: In 2025, B.Tech IT branch of engineering a total of 85%-90% of students got placed with an average package of 6 LPA. The highest package is 65 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top recruiters who recruited the students are Amazon, Deloitte, SAP labs, TCS, Wipro, and Physics Wallah.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is in the girls' and boys' common rooms, libraries, and hostels but the connections are weak. The infrastructure is not good, the canteen is a tin shed, not everyone is allowed in the mess and the food poor quality. No medical facilities are available. Poor games facility. Poor administration as a lot of paper work is done with lengthy time-consuming formalities which could have been done online through the website as it is a technology institute, no ACs in hostels they do extortion of money saying if you want to keep your cooler in the room then pay Rs. 1250 per month extra.
Faculty: Teaching is done by rote learning. Old redundant useless curriculum is taught in the first year. Some teachers seem qualified and some teachers are too old to teach. Semester exams are not that difficult and doable if study the day before exams.
Other: I chose it just for the B.Tech degree at comparatively less price. It would be better if the revise the whole curriculum into what is required in current times and make it more practical.

A roller coaster ride. An enjoyable experience.
Placements: The placement percentage for the year 2024 was about 70% and above. In the previous year, about 80% and above of placements were offered. The average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered in 2023 was 80 LPA and the highest salary package offered in 2022 was 1.7 crores. In 2024 highest salary package offered was 50 LPA, and these are off-campus placements. Major companies that students from our campus are mainly service-based mass recruiters. Some of the students also get placed in companies like Microsoft, Abode, Google, Amazon, Atlassian, etc., off-campus. One major mass recruiter also visited the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the college. Labs are there but are of poor quality. Classrooms are decent, but some of them do not have air-conditioners, which will be tough to sit in the summertime. The library is good. There is a central library in the MSI builidng of the college.
Faculty: Teachers are not well-qualified to teach. Their teaching quality is poor. They are supportive. The course curriculum is not relevant in today's times. It has various subjects which are of no use. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. We have two exams in a semester. One is mid-term exams, and the other is final exams. Passing marks are 40 out of 100 in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I want to get into technology sector and grab a good placement. This was the best college that I was getting so I chose it. Things I wish I can improve about this course is their course curriculum. It includes core subjects from the very first year. The college should remove subjects like a manufacturing process and environmental studies. The campus has a decent crowd which is the main reason I joined this college. Many events are organised in our college like the Navratri event, pre-Diwali event, January fest, etc. Extracurricular activities are not conducted in college. The campus size is very small.

MSIT Janakpuri, placements, infrastructure, faculty members.
Placements: After talking to seniors, I got to know that placements mentioned all over the internet were inflated. Although the real placements are average, with a 5 - 6 LPA average, and the highest being 20 LPA. Till now they don't provide on-campus internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very small about 5,6 acres. The college building is very old and the hostel facilities are very much average, which justifies its price which is 6500 for double sharing. There's one canteen on the campus which is decent not very much great.
Faculty: Faculty members are okaish, they just teach while some are really great, go to full extent to make students understand, exams are taken thrice in a semester including the end Sem, and rest it is as much as any other pvt B.Teach college, since it's affiliated with GGSIPU the answers sheet checking is a bit on lenient side.

It is a good college if you engage.
Placements: The average expected package is 7-8 LPA. If you work hard, then you can expect a better package. Some students also get a good amount of package and internship, even ECE students got a few, and are working with Microsoft.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, the college is not good. There is one building and one canteen. The computer labs are not good. The quality of food in the canteen is also not good. The washrooms are quite good, but the water from the coolers tastes good only on the 2nd and 6th floor, the rest of the coolers are not good, and it's best to avoid drinking from them. The campus guard is strict.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, and some teachers are truly dedicated to studying. Some are also helpful if you want to prepare for UPSC or other government exams, and some give many assignments. Overall, the teachers are good. They share materials that help society, but some are not so good.
Other: The overall culture and the crowd are good in B.Tech. Some students organize events, including the biggest hackathons, and build various communities. The society's seniors are all helpful, and the coding environment provides experience. Overall, the growth is good if you engage properly and make good friends.
