Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT) which was formerly known as Malaviya Regional Engineering College (MREC) Jaipur was named after Madan Mohan Malaviya. It is a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. It was established in 1963 as a public technical university in Jaipur, India. MNIT offers a wide variety of studies in Engineering, Sciences, Management, Design, and Humanities. Eight four-year undergraduate courses of study led to the Bachelor of Technology degree, and a five-year undergraduate course led to the Bachelor of Architecture degree, with a total of over 5,000 students.
