MIT - Not just a college but an experience of life.
Placements: 60% of the students get approved and placed. The highest can be up to 70 LPA and the minimum 7 LPA. In the case of my course, many students move to Masters or get a CPL, but whoever sits for placements gets placed in it. I am currently in the 6th semester and have inquired about placements, as it starts in the 7th semester.
Infrastructure: The faculty is very professional, and everyone has a Master's degree from good institutions, with many having PhDs too. The research programs are very good, organized, and highly encouraging. The main highlight of MIT Manipal is the MARENA: a 5-story sports center with everything, including a café. The second thing is the REVELS: a college fest known to many colleges.
Faculty: Our exams are given on an ePad, which helps reduce waste and encourages saving trees, as it has been the main motto of Manipal and MAHE. The faculty is good and experienced. Semester exams are easy if studied, obviously, as there is no easy way out, but the makeup exams are different and more difficult.
Other: Highly diverse and great food. It's a city built around MAHE College, so the whole city is filled with students. It's a very lively place and also very happening.

They have really good infrastructure and Manipal = Moneypal.
Placements: Around 60% got places. I think others had plans for higher education. The average package is 7-8 Lacs. Top companies like Air India, Indigo, Amazon, etc. We all got internships; myself got an internship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. Really good college.
Infrastructure: There are many hostels available, and the infrastructure is really good and strong. They have high technology machines in labs and good internet connections too. We get free work too on the campus. Classrooms have projectors and have quality benches and desks.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. You can clarify any doubts you have with them. The teachers are well-qualified and have good knowledge about their teaching. Yes, you are made industry-ready. Exams are a bit tough, but you will be given formula books that make it easier. Almost everyone passes.

I am highly satisfied with course infrastructure and campus life but placements could be better.
Placements: Placements for our branch are not great at present as it is a slightly specialised branch. Placements may increase in the future to 25% with a starting salary package of 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: Lab facilities are excellent. The quality of hostel rooms and mess food is the best. Our college provides good food, facilities, maintenance, and Wi-Fi which are better than 90% of colleges in India.
Faculty: Faculty members and course curriculum are very good. Teachers are highly knowledgeable and extremely helpful in academics or others. The course curriculum is good but could be a little engaging. Exams are straightforward. The pass percentage is 75%. The course curriculum is very simple but it educates students as it covers all the major aspects.
Other: I chose this course as Indian aviation sector is booming with new innovations everyday and plenty opportunities for future.

Aeronautical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
Placements: Almost every student gets placement but most of the students opt for higher studies since aeronautical is a specialised branch and to get work in related industries M.Tech is recommended. The highest salary package offered is around 25 LPA and the average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Students with great profiles get internships in aero-related companies such as DRDO. Others get internships mostly in IT companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great. Wi-Fi also works well. Classrooms, library, and labs are centrally air-conditioned and are clean. Hostels are good. Once in every two days, they clean rooms. Only thing is that there are limited air-conditioned rooms. Mess food is also hygienic and food quality is also good. They change the menu every week so a variety of food is also available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and well skilled in their domain. Most of the professors have either completed their Ph.D. or doing it. The course gets updated frequently every two years to keep it relevant and make students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams is of moderate level and there is relative grading.
Other: I chose aeronautics because I am passionate about airplanes and I will get to learn a lot about airplanes. Events at the college are great and quite frequent. There are many picnic spots near the college. The crowd is also great and everyone is helpful.

Review of Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Placements: Most of the placements are in the IT sector. This college encourages students to opt for higher studies, based on research. The students also tend to be more inclined towards higher studies, as the opportunity in this field is very narrow after completing B.Tech only.
Infrastructure: It has well furnished and Wi-Fi-enabled campus. It also has a great collection of books, journals, and articles at the library. Hostels are also state of the art, with mess or food courts nearby. A gym facility is also made available for the students. Medical needs are taken care of by Kasturba hospital which is free of cost for the students.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, most of them have been conferred PhDs or are working towards it. The curriculum is revised every four years to keep it relevant to the industry's needs. The curriculum is based on the syllabus of IITs and NITs. The semester exams are graded relatively, and hence the difficulty of paper is not a concern.

MIT provides the best infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 50% of the students got placed in college. Most of them went for a master's degree. The highest salary package offered was around 30 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, HAL, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. Around 70% of the students got internships from our batch and were recruited by top companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available at MIT are excellent and the best when compared to other colleges. It is a huge campus all around and you can hang around with friends. They provide good hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are around 14 blocks for MIT students. We have 2 food mess here in MIT, and the quality and quantity of food served is very good. The caretakers and chief wardens are very good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and caring for students. Most of them have done their Ph.Ds. They teach us based on the course plan provided by the institute and they get around 30-35 lectures for completing the syllabus. The teaching quality is very good. There are 5-course objectives for a subject and there are relevant topics. The semester exams are difficult and you need to get above class average marks for good grades.
Other: I got around 13,000 ranks in Manipal Entrance Test and then I chose the aero branch. The subjects are interesting and it is very updated. The course subjects make us feel theoretical, but they should be more general. TechTatva is the annual fest here in Manipal and it is held for a week. There are around 200 clubs including technical as well as non-technical clubs.

Manipal institute of technology - An ocean of opportunities.
Placements: Placements are usually low because the branch is quite specific, and the college urges you to go for higher studies. However students are placed in non-branch companies like Amazon, KPMG and other reputed companies. If your aim is to work in a filed related to Aeronautical, then B.Tech from any reputed college (IITs & NITs) would also be insufficient, and you'd have to go for masters.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, with wonderful infrastructure. The hostels are also well furnished. Students have a wide plethora of cuisines to choose from for their meals. Sports facilities are state of the art (you can google Marena, Manipal, and have an insight). The college is next to Kasturba Hospital, and all kinds of medical facilities are provided to the students at nominal charges.
Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified, most of them with Ph.Ds, or working on them. Quality of teaching is up to the mark. Curriculum is revised majorly, every 4 years to stay up to date with relevant industry standards. B.Tech honours, and minor specializations are also provided to qualifying students.
Other: MIT aims to provide holistic education. We have a number of student projects, from rocketry teams to mars rovers, from F1 racing to E-Bikes. There are non technical groups as well, for drama, modelling, dance and what not.

Lives up to its ranking of one of the best colleges in the country.
Placements: Every aeronautical class in my college has about 70 odd students, but very few get placed from the college in aero based companies, for various reasons, like, most of the students opt for higher education instead of going for college placements, or even if students do get placed, they are recruited by mass recruiters for jobs that are not aero centric.
Infrastructure: There are many Wi-Fi points on campus, but the strength is always poor. Aero labs are probably among the best labs seen in any college in India. There are multiple, huge sections of the library facilitating students for group studies, and self studies too. Some hostel blocks are better than the others and are allotted on the basis of a students' gpa, and there's the NRI quota as well. Food in mess requires improvement in quality. Medical facilities are very poor. Sports and games facilities are top notch.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and eager to guide students. They are all knowledgeable and qualified, but some are better at teaching than the others. The course curriculum does give the students a strong knowledge of the basics required for the industry, and the college help students work on personal projects too.
Other: I chose eeronautical because I was fascinated by this field. The best things about our course are obviously the labs, because watching wind tunnels and aviation simulators in function, in real life, is very fascinating. They can probably encourage more hands on information about the field rather than continuing to focus more on the same old traditional basic knowledge that is frankly, available even on youtube. The social life and campus activity is excellent.
