Placements: I'm currently pursuing a B.Teach in CSE with Cyber Security at Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Kolkata, and graduating in 2026 as part of the first batch of this specialization. While our batch is yet to sit for placement, the core CSE branch SEE around 75-80% placements, with an average package of around 5.5-6 LPA, and the highest offers reaching 15 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, and Teach Mahindra along with a growing presence of cybersecurity-focused companies and startups.
Infrastructure: Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology College has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to a digital and central library. Hostel facilities are decent; food is average in the mess and canteen. Medical, sports and indoor games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good industry exposure. The curriculum is updated and relevant, focusing on practical skills to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, with a pass percentage of 85-90%.
