NIT Uttarakhand BTech is an undergraduate course offered to students who wish to pursue a career in the Engineering field. This programme runs for four years. Moreover, under BTech, the institute offers five specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

For NIT Uttarakhand BTech course admission, candidates must apply for the JEE Main. The application form for JEE Main can be filled out by visiting the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). STEP 1: NIT Uttarakhand BTech Application Process 2025

Step 1: Open the official website.
Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main 2025 Registration” link.
Step 3: Fill in the required details and click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration. After the completion of the JEE Main registration process, candidates will receive an email and message in their registered email ID and mobile phone number with details of the application form number and password. Candidates will need to keep safe/save the details of registration.
Step 4: After completion of registration, candidates will be redirected to the page for filling out the detailed application form. In this step, candidates have to provide details of educational qualifications, parents' details, address of communication and permanent address, and exam centre preference.
Step 5: Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature.
Step 6: Pay the application fees. The category-wise application fee for JEE Main is mentioned in the following table:

Once all the counselling rounds are over, candidates who are offered seats must report to the institute for confirmation of admission. To confirm admission, students are required to submit various academic documents for verification purposes. Upon successful verification, students must pay the fee as prescribed by the institute. The total tuition fee for BTech at NIT Uttarakhand is INR 5 lakh.
