Therefore, earning 60% on your 12th board exam is insufficient. You need to have a very high JEE Main rank.
The eligibility requirements of 60% are merely the minimum. The 12th grade is not directly taken into account for admission by NSIT.To have a chance in the General category with 60% in the 12th grade, you would need a JEE Main rank below 500.

No, CMAT scores are not compulsory for admissions into the MBA course at NSUT. Even CMAT scores are not the first priority of the admission committee to shortlist the students. Yes, NSUT does offer seat reservation for MBA courses. The reservation by the university is as follows: 

• Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% of the complete seats
• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of the complete seats
