Proud to say I am an NIT'an, Very helpful to build my future.

Placements: 1) around 40% of students were placed on campus 30% from off-campus, 20% went to higher studies. The highest package is 6 Lacs, the lowest is 4 Lacs and the average pack is 5 Lacs. WSP, AECOM, and presidency university were top recruiting companies for where. We were offered courses like applied hydrology, stochastic hydrology, and water resource system planning and management which plays a major role in practical works. All students have opportunity to get internships in government organizations like CWC Pune, KERS Mysore, WALAMTHARI Hyderabad and in some IITs and IISC based on their interest.

Infrastructure: For M.Tech students hostel facility is very good but the food is not good in any of the messes, as usual, Wi-Fi and library facility is quite okay. Canteens are very bad because they don't have a proper canteen in the campus right now. We don't get Wi-Fi in whole campus it is only limited to only hostels, classroom, and libraries. The gym facility is there inside hostel but equipments were quite less and space is also less. Study rooms are available inside hostel too.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful in the campus except few, all of them are from top institutions like IISC, IITs, NITs, and BITs. They are having enough knowledge to teach us and the way they are teaching will make us get a thorough idea about the concept and the main thing is students need to put a lot of effort as we are in Masters we should not depend on teachers much. Obviously we ill get enough confidence to work anywhere when we leave campus.

Other: I'm interested in this course so I got into it and my course basically deals with water as we all know its basic need and interesting subject to anyone to know more in detail about it. I was concern more about nature and natural things so that made me get into this field.

Review of NIT Warangal (NITW) - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: I have joined National Institute of Technology Warangal in the year 2018. I am in the final year of my masters now, until now, five core companies for water resources engineering visited the college. Apart from 3 students who are willing to join PhD everyone else are trying for government exam. None from our batch got placed in the company.

Infrastructure: There are many hostels in NIT Warangal for masters, and they will allot ultra-mega hostel. Hostel facilities are quite good. Wi-Fi facility is available here. The cleaning system is satisfactory. There is a 9-storey hostel. You can change your room in final year. You will be alotted with one of the IFC.

Faculty: For water resource engineering, we have the best faculty as compared to any other colleges of India. Almost all faculty members are aged more than 60 years. Professors are very friendly. You can go to them at any time you want, and they will solve your doubt. Water resource engineering is the best over here.

Other: I heard about NIT Warangal from various platforms, and NITW is the best. My GATE score was 502. I got NITW in last national spot round and that too in remote sensing; then in the internal sliding round, I got in. The college organises two grand fests named Technozia and SpriingSpree.

Very much satisfied with faculty and placements.

Placements: 1. Approximately 90% of the students gets placed every year. 2. The highest Salary offered was eight Lacs per annum and the lowest was four Lacs per annum and average was 6 Lacs. 3. Intermediate colleges, core companies and L and T came for placement. 4. Junior lecture and senior lecturer roles were offered.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure availability for our course is very good. Wi-Fi labs classrooms are good. Library is the best. Food availability is good but sometimes it depends. Canteen is also good. Medical facilities are best. Sports and games are best. Mess is good.

Faculty: Faculty are very helpful, well qualified and highly knowledgeable. Quality was at best in teaching. Course curriculum so relevant it is very much related to industry training. Faculty availability is best and fests technical and non technical are also best.
