A balanced college with good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: I am currently a fresher. So, I do not have enough first-hand information about the placement percentage, packages, or recruiting companies for my course. I have not yet reached the placement stage. So, I would prefer not to give any figures. I will be able to give an accurate review after gaining more experience with my course. I will also be able to understand its placement opportunities better.
Infrastructure: I have visited the college. I can say that it has good facilities such as classrooms, a library, computer labs, & sports facilities. The campus is clean and well-maintained. The infrastructure is good. It creates a comfortable environment for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and explain the topics very well. The course includes a mix of mathematics and other subjects. The syllabus is useful for building knowledge, but more practical learning could be added. The semester exams are based on the syllabus and can be handled with regular study.
Other: The fee was one of the reasons I chose this college, and I also like mathematics.

Perfect mix of good academics, active societies, and a huge sports ground.
Placements: Since I just took admission in the 2026 batch, my knowledge about placements is mostly based on what our seniors tell us. I hear that around 60–70% of students get placed in top companies like EY and Wipro, with the average package going up to 10 LPA. The placement cell is really active and regularly helps students grab good internships in roles like HR, auditing, and sales.
Infrastructure: Our college has a large computer lab and other labs, and all the computer work in the labs is done well. P.G.D.A.V. canteen is one of the cheapest canteens in Delhi University. Hygiene is also taken care of in the canteen.
Faculty: Professors are really qualified and super approachable whenever we need help with our doubts. According to our seniors, with the new DU syllabus, we will definitely need internships later to become fully industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty moderate. You can easily score well if you go through the previous 10 years' question papers. Our college has very good faculty, and all our teachers are also very good.

Affordable fees, highly qualified teachers, and great campus life.
Placements: Since I just took admission in the 2026 batch as a fresher, from what I have heard from my seniors, around 60 to 70 percent of students get placed in top companies like EY and Wipro. The average package is around 4–5 LPA, whereas the highest package is up to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus has a great vibe. It has decent classrooms and a good library. The Wi-Fi can be glitchy sometimes. I don't know about the hostel, as I am a day scholar. I think most of the outstation students live in nearby PGs near the college. The best part is that we have a huge sports ground. The canteen also serves really tasty food and snacks at such an affordable rate.
Faculty: Teachers here are very qualified and super sweet about clearing doubts. Well, as a fresher, I don't know much about the syllabus now, but I think for academics, I do not have to worry because of teachers. I haven't given my first-semester exams yet, but the seniors told me to be prepared for exams because most questions are repeated from the last 10 years' question papers.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Mathematical Sciences because it is a mix of Maths, Statistics, and CS. This is a perfect foundation for Data Science. The best part of PGDAV is the super helpful faculty, affordable fee, and proximity to the metro station. The campus crowd is energetic. Societies are also very active. I am also excited to attend the fest.

Review of PGDAV College, University of Delhi.
Placements: It depends on the person. If he/she is hardworking, they'll surely get placed. The average package taken by my seniors is somewhere around 4.5–5 LPA. There are students and seniors who have taken more than that as well. Things are going well in our college.
Infrastructure: For the course, the infrastructure is very good. However, there is no hostel facility available. There are no future plans for such facilities, as far as I know.
Faculty: The faculty is great. The curriculum is strictly based on the New Education Policy. Exams are held twice a year, semester-wise. The curriculum is under the guidance of the New Education Policy. Teachers and faculty are great. The principal is very cooperative and a good listener.

College with the best statistics faculty.
Placements: Not many students opt for placement, but those who do get placement with a nice strike rate of 80-85 percent. Now those companies that used to recruit students from this course are looking for employees who have skills like critical, analytical, and logical abilities. The roles that are offered mostly are data analyst or some research-based role, or we can say research and development role. Even in my very first year, I grabbed internships from 3 different companies for the roles of analyst and research and development.
Infrastructure: We are in a course that has a broad domain and it includes Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science, so we use practical labs of both the Computer Science department and the Statistics department. In our college canteen, the food menu is not too vast but the items available are of good quality and really affordable. Our canteen is quite spacious as compared to other college canteens.
Faculty: Faculty is excellent. Teachers are really helpful in every aspect especially the faculty of the Statistics department, who are so nice that they discuss our future career prospects with us, and they even advise us on time. In Maths, we have one of India's best professors, now, in Computer Science too we have good faculty. This course is quite industry-ready if we compare it with other B.Sc. courses even it is superior to some Honours courses too. Semester exams are actually difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I am a student with critical, analytical, and logical abilities with this course I can upscale my abilities. One thing I would like to add to my course is one more core subject and that is Operations Research. We have many societies, and we do have our annual fest.

Highly satisfied with the campus, infrastructure, connectivity, faculty, and crowd.
Placements: In B.Sc. Mathematics, we have an approximate strength of 50–60 students. Since we are in the second year, we have not been placed yet, and none of us is engaged in an internship either. Interest in placements is also low. Recently, involvement is more towards other societies like Natraj, Spunk, and NSS. Interest towards the Placement Cell is less. I think this indicates that students are either planning for some government job, pursuing some hobby, or may start getting serious about a corporate job in the third year.
Infrastructure: We have a stats lab and a fully structured computer lab. The network is so bad that sometimes it is even difficult to transfer a WhatsApp message. We have no hostel. Students rent apartments or flats or live in PGs and face health issues. Particularly, newcomers find it difficult to adjust. The rent around the college campus is also quite high. PGs are far. But the metro is very close, which is a very good point. The library is nice. The canteen is also nice. The food is not really expensive. It is affordable.
Faculty: Faculty of Stats and Maths is damn good. Teachers are helpful and interact nicely with students. Tests and assignments are regularly given. Classes are also regularly held, although sometimes classes are cancelled. Semester exams are also not very difficult. Someone who simultaneously prepares for some other competitive exam and also manages college can easily pass college exams.
Other: The only course that provides both CS and Stats together is this, so I chose the course. Also, this college does not have a harsh administration, and teachers are also cooperative. Fests are not really grand, but students do enjoy them. Connectivity is good. The bus stand and metro station are just next to the campus. The crowd during selection sometimes gets worse, but the rest of the time, the crowd is decent.

Good infrastructure with highly qualified faculty and a decent crowd.
Placements: As informed and guided by my seniors, the placements in this college are decent. If your CGPA is good and you clear the eligibility criteria, then the placements are almost certain. But for my course, we have three core careers that can be chosen, so it gives us an edge over other courses.
Infrastructure: In our course, i.e., Mathematical Sciences, the Computer Science department is pretty good, with a large number of systems. The room is also fully air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi is good and works decently for messaging and Googling. The library in our college is one of the best in DU, I think.
Faculty: Faculty of our course is very experienced and qualified. Especially the Statistics department faculty. They are highly qualified and are friendly towards the students. The course is relevant and gives the student a three-way career option. The difficulty level of exams is moderate to hard.

Our college PGDAV is in the University of Delhi.
Placements: PGDAV College is a good college of the University of Delhi. In this college, the placement rate is 70 to 80 percent. Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Zomato, Wipro, and Amazon are coming for placement. Fewer students get internships in big companies, students intern in banks.
Infrastructure: In PGDAV College, there are many facilities and good infrastructure, but there are network problems in some places, and Wi-Fi does not work well. There are many sports and games available in this college, and the canteen food is average, and the food rate is cheap, which most students can afford.
Faculty: In this college, the study is good, and the professors are good and helpful. The semester exam is average, but the semester exam routine is so bad 2 core subjects are on the same date in my course. Because of this problem, students are not focused on one subject for the exam at a time.
Other: I chose this course because in this course, there are three core subjects Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. In the future, I will get an honors degree in any of the three according to our interests.
