Absolutely dissatisfied with the location.
Placements: You can't expect much placement opportunities from Shyam Lal College, but you will get lifetime exposure that will help improve your skills. You can get internships, and we also have a placement and internship cell. There are lots of societies where you can work as well.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel within the college. You need to rent a PG or rooms near Shyam Lal College. The PG cost is around 8k to 9k per head. The college infrastructure includes a seminar hall, amphitheater, porch area, garden, ground, audio-video room, canteen, and library.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, supportive, and helpful. Classes are held, but most of the time, teachers cancel them at the last moment. If you are a computer science student, you need to do it by yourself. Exams are properly held, and the practical viva and external exams also take place.
Other: Yes, you can definitely enjoy campus life. Although it is not a big campus, there are lots of places to hang out with friends, such as the ground, amphitheater, and porch area.

Decent college if you want to take admission in DU.
Placements: I am still in my first year, so I'm not sure about placements, but I have heard they are not that good. However, I heard that 124 students from the previous batch were placed on campus. So, if you are enrolling in a technical course like computer science, there is a good chance of getting an on-campus placement.
Infrastructure: The campus is not so large with a decently vibrant college life. The classrooms in the old building are small but they are quite spacious in the new building.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. They complete the syllabus on time, with practicals for applicable subjects. Regular tests are conducted. The syllabus is accurate and prepares students for job opportunities. Semester exams are not too tough if students study properly.
Other: There is no sports ground for cricket or football. If these sports are your priority, it would be better to consider other colleges.

Review of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Our college does not provide internships. Students did not get placements in good companies.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college. Our college does not provide a hostel. There are very good computers in the CS lab. The garden is decently maintained. It is very difficult for boys to find flats or rooms for residence, so I recommend taking PGs or hostels. The campus is not good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the CS department are good. Semester exams are average, but the course contents are mostly relevant and useful. The lab and library teachers are quite helpful.
Other: Our college has many societies. It conducts events. Our college should focus on programming languages and make it fully equipped from beginner to advanced level.

Review of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements for our course. The average salary package offered for B.A in 2022 was 3.50 LPA. Many commerce and art students got placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. All labs are clean. Our canteen is good. We have good sports. There is no hostel facility for students. They have to stay in PGs. The food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and have good gratitude. They help students most of the time by providing notes or extra things. Most of the teachers are very helpful to students as they guide them to what to do in the future and help to solve their queries.
Other: This course is good for average students. It provides the flexibility to do post-graduation in subjects like computer science, physics, maths, etc. It is a good college for commerce and arts students.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: Around 40 students got placed in our course. The average salary offered by Wipro ranges between Rs. 20,000-35,000 per month. More than 50% of students got placed in our college. Our college provides good placements. If you are capable, you can get placements easily.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in our college for students. You have to find flats and rooms. Our mess is good compared to other college messes. Our college interior is the best. Our college provides all types of sports facilities. It has great ground. We have a lot of space in our college.
Faculty: All teachers are well-educated and qualified. The teaching quality is good. This course is not enough. You have to learn some extra things to get better placements. Semester exams are not difficult. You can pass exams easily. The passing marks are 30 out of 75 marks.

Shyam lal college is a place for the ones who do not complain.
Placements: Placement is okay. It is not good in number but if you are a dedicated one then you will get a package of minimum 4 lakh per year. There are societies like e-cell and placement cell which brings companies and startups.
Infrastructure: Infra is not so good here, but the buildings are being re-constructed. This college is a paradise for sports students because it has good facilities for hockey and volleyball. There is a library too. Reading rooms are good places.
Faculty: Science faculty is good, and other teachers and staff members are also helpful. Teachers are experienced. Exams and practicals are held regularly and the labs are improving, CS lab has recently got some new and powerful desktops.

Good college with excellent teachers.
Placements: I'm from the Du'24 batch. Everyone in my batch is a tough competitor. And all are my good friends they always tell me what to do. But I'm impressed by the teaching staff of my college it is like outstanding. They improve my performance in my studies.
Infrastructure: The classroom and campus are good also your garden are well-maintained. The labs are really in good condition. Also, the library and the laboratory classes are good, and the teachers are cooperative. I'm very much impressed with the college and the professors. All are nice to every student.
Faculty: Teachers give extra classes or doubts sections before any exams! I'm very impressed by this. And I thought my college is one of the best colleges at the University of Delhi, but the ranking of my college is not deserving, and the college deserves more.

Just in the process of improving both infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Generally, the placement cell is improving slowly. The recent placement is low in salary, but the work done by placement cells is improving chances and entrepreneurship skills. The general trend is only the normal salary, and some companies show interest.
Infrastructure: The current infrastructure is average, but this college is undergoing new redevelopment. The previous was just your typical college infrastructure, but now massive programs of renovating and redeveloping the college area are taking place, which results in a whole new experience.
Faculty: Teachers are nonetheless qualified for their posts. But in their comfort zone. Teachers are well qualified and able for their posts. But, they usually are not cooperative, and the college exams are medium at their level while the course curriculum is lagging.
Other: I chose this course because I like physical Science, which can be implemented in everyday phenomena.
