B.E. in Information Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
2.8
Placement-oriented excellence of RVCE.
Placements: Almost every student is placed, unless we are drowning in backlogs. Microsoft, AMD, Walmart, etc., are top recruiting companies, and they do take up a good number of students. FTEs and internships are offered frequently, which makes it a top college in all standards.
Infrastructure: There is no good infrastructure since many buildings are being built as of now, making it very cluttered. Otherwise, the campus has potential that is being reduced to rubble. It does not have the best campus. It is below average and remarkable at best. The canteen is pretty good.
Faculty: Teachers are useless and can't teach anything. They are not even aware of teaching, which is kind of shameful considering it's an engineering college. Faculty members are not up to the mark. They are extremely egotistical and keep bugging us for no reason.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.2
Overall, a student can have a good engineering college experience.
Placements: Placements at RVCE were the best of all the colleges in Bangalore. The placement department started offering students internship and full-time employment opportunities after the completion of the 4th semester itself, which was unlike in other colleges. The top recruiting companies included Texas Instruments, Siemens, AT&T, Microsoft, etc. The highest package was 56 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels were pretty good but not top-notch, medium level. The classrooms and lecture halls were well-maintained, along with labs and libraries. The college offered Wi-Fi at specific locations, such as the hostel and the libraries. The mess and canteens provided decent and essential snacks and foods, and sports facilities were also maintained.
Faculty: You'll find some of the teachers really helpful with subject matter and doubts, but most of them just tend to finish courses early with strict attendance. Most of the teachers were behind in completing the syllabus before the exams. You can find some teachers who really solved doubts related to the subject, otherwise, you’ll be asked to refer to the books from the library.
Other: Overall, the best of all engineering colleges in Bangalore, and you'll find knowledge, wisdom, and fun here.

Best College in COMEDK for Engineering.
Placements: The placement in our course was around 85 percent. The highest package offered in our course was 18 LPA. The average package was around Rs. 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Hyundai, Schneider, etc. Approximately 75 percent of students got paid internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. Wi-Fi facility, library, and modern classroom were available. The college was located in a city that was of great benefit for students. The hostel quality was also very nice. The mess food was average. A sports ground was present.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable to teach us. The teaching method was also good and easy to understand the deep concept. The course curriculum was relevant. College had international collaboration, which helps students gain industry exposure and make them industry-ready. The semester exam was a little tough.

The good things in RV College of Engineering.
Placements: Around 90% of the students get placed in this college. I have heard that the highest package for this year is 64.5LPA. Many students get placed in top companies like Amazon, Google, etc. Even the students are selected through other curriculum activities, like event management and other activities. This college also helps to improve other skills.
Infrastructure: Faculty members support a lot of your ideas and interests. The classrooms are the best, and we will get all the basic needs required for our studies. We can join sports, and we can attend the interview college sports. I like the hostel food varieties here.
Faculty: Faculty members are available anytime here. The skills we require for industries are trained by the faculty members. We will get all the facilities and training required for our placements and all. We can even expose our ideas to the technical events with the help of our faculty members.
Other: I wanted to choose AIDS, but it's not available in this college. Because of the placement and college popularity, I chose this course based on my interest only. The fests are amazing here; we can enjoy the fests in both technical and cultural aspects.

It is a good college. It offers good placements, and it is worth it.
Placements: I am pursuing a Data Science specialisation. The highest stipend provided in internships this year is 1 lakh per month. About 20 students got internships. Our stream is new, so placements are yet to be done.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is very well-equipped with smartboards. Labs have very good specification hardware. The lab infrastructure is average since the actual labs are under construction. The Wi-Fi works decently. The hostel infrastructure is good, but a low number of students can be accommodated, and it costs 2 lakhs per year.
Faculty: Everything is very good apart from some faculty members. There are 3 internals and 1 end-semester exam (finals). There is one experiential learning project each semester to apply real-world solutions. There are 3 internals, which provide a very good opportunity for increasing marks. The course structure is very good. Subjects are interconnected, which makes it easy to relate, understand, and apply.
Other: All types of students are present here. From academics to extracurricular activities, everything is provided here. It has decent campus life, considering different fees for different quotas.

A good college with an excellent crowd and nice placements.
Placements: Placements are excellent, one of the best in private colleges of Bengaluru. ISE programme has 19 LPA average in the ongoing year. It is 16.37 LPA in 2023-24. CSE placements are even better with 19 LPA average in the current year, 17 LPA in the previous one.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi quality is average at best (20 mbps at most). Many times the Wi-Fi doesn't even work. Hostels are okay, although the food could improve. Library is nice. Canteens are adequate. Sports could use a lot of work as the current ground is just a parking lot.
Faculty: Teachers are good enough; most of them teach the curriculum well. Curriculum is good but it needs some updating. First-year syllabus could definitely improve as many irrelevant subjects are taught. Semester exams are not that hard. Pass percentage is more than 90 percent in most programs.
Other: Sports facilities, events, and fests need improvement.

Life in the RVCE College of Engineering.
Placements: In my branch, 20 to 30% students get placed successfully. The highest package in my biotechnology is about 16LPA, the lowest package is 3 to 6 LPA, and the average is 7 to 8 LPA. Many top recruiting companies visited my college, such as Johnson and Johnson, Bharat Tech, and many more. Almost in every sem, students get internship opportunities easily from my branch. Top roles offered are designing or researching bio related things, and also some opt out for higher studies. This is possible because my college is number one in the COMEDK colleges list.
Infrastructure: My college has multiple lecture halls as well as rooms for tutorial work, and also a seminar hall. There are many labs that come under my course total, which are around six, and the Wi-Fi speed is around 600mbps bandwidth, and is also available in almost every unit of the college. Library is also there with a vast variety of books and articles. My college has accommodation for both boys and girls on campus, in which rooms can be double, triple, or even more sharing options are available. There is a common mess for all branch students, which is quite good in taste.
Faculty: Medical facilities is there in my college with a ambulance available for 24hrs and all types of sports activities also happens there such as indoor outdoor as well as gym is also installed their. The teachers in my college are very helpful in nature and have higher knowledge in their respective fields with higher degrees. The course is more than sufficient for the students who want to contribute to biotech, and the exams are above average, but you need to study at least 10 days before the exam, as it is RVCE, and 80 to 90% get passed.
Other: I chose this course because my college is one of the top 1 colleges of COMEDK, which will provide a better infrastructure and resources. The best things about my course are that I can learn all the main points of engineering with the help of my faculty members. Events in my college are many, such as 8th Mile, technical events, cultural events, CARV, QuizCorp, and many more. Campus crowd is good, and the connection is also good with big colleges. Scholarship is there for needy students, and the campus is very well maintained and good enough for each and every student.

A life in my RVCE College.
Placements: In my biotechnology branch, around 25% of students get placed. The highest salary is 16 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA - 6 LPA, and the average is around 7 LPA - 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Merck and Bangalore Bioinnovation Center. Many students in my course get internships in their respective branches every semester. Top roles offered are core R&D, and many students opt for higher studies in the field.
Infrastructure: Our department has multiple lecture halls, tutorial rooms, and a well-equipped seminar hall. The department has many labs, such as animal cell culture lab, plant biotechnology lab, genetic engineering and molecular biology lab, and many more. Department has its own library stocked with reference books, textbooks, and journals. Wi-Fi is enabled with a bandwidth of around 600 Mbps. RVCE has hostels for both girls and boys with double, triple, and many more sharing equipped with table, chair, and cupboard. Canteen is also there in my college. Health center and ambulance are also available for 24 hours.
Faculty: Teachers in my course are very helpful and well educated with a higher knowledge of the course, and their quality is exceptionally very well. The course is relevant to the branch. I have opted for it as it gives a vast idea about my field and also makes me ready for that field in the future. Semester exams are of average level, and around 90% of students easily passed.
Other: I chose this course because I was highly interested in the field of this, and I wanted to explore biotech things such as plants, animals, and many more. The best thing about the course is that we can gain high information regarding all of this with the help of the 4 years course provided in our college. All is best in my RVCE nothing needs to be improved. Events and fests in my college are 8th Mile, CARV, Quizcorp, and many more. Campus crowd is very good with maximum number of innovative students, connectivity with IITs and even with the big market.
