Thinking of joining Ramanujan College. There is what you should know.
Placements: There is what you should know. The placement cell is active especially for commerce and vocational courses. Big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Google, SBI and Policy Bazaar have visited. The average package is usually around 4 to 5 LPA and the highest has touched 12 to 17 LPA depending on the course. Humanities students dont get as much placement support compared to commerce/CS but internships and workshops are arranged regularly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is better than that of many other DU colleges. The campus is modern, with smart classrooms, computer labs, media labs, and a well stocked library. Its clean and green, giving a decent vibe. Canteen food is affordable and okay for everyday meals. The big con here is the lack of hostels. So students have to stay in PGs or rent flats nearby.
Faculty: Faculty is one of the strong points. Most teachers are well qualified and approachable. Commerce and Computer Science departments get a lot of praise for supportive professors and interactive teaching. But not everything is perfect. For example, the Psychology department often gets complaints about poor management and a lack of proper lab facilities. Overall, though, academics are solid, and the faculty genuinely tries to help.
Other: Campus life is lively. There are tons of societies Dramatics, debating, music, fashion, entrepreneurship, etc. The college organizes seminars, workshops, cultural events, and fests frequently, so you wont feel bored. The annual fest is quite fun and attracts a good crowd. The crowd is diverse, with people from different states. Students are generally friendly, and the overall vibe is supportive rather than toxic. Ramanujan offers a good mix of academics, infrastructure, and campus life. Its especially strong for commerce and CS students, but overall, its a solid choice in South Campus.

Overall, I love the college.
Placements: Our college placement cell is very active. Companies actively visit our college for internships. Diverse roles are offered like operation intern, marketing intern, content writer, etc. The average stipend offered ranges from Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. After 3rd year, students can also apply for placements. The average salary is 3 LPA and can go up to 8-10 LPA depending on student's capabilities.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure but it is not very big. Our classes happen in port cabins during 1st and 2nd years and from 3rd year, it happens in the main building. We have nice computer labs and a good library with a 120 seating capacity and fully air-conditioned.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and some are not. Overall, the course curriculum is good and students who take it seriously can become industry-ready. As this is an honors course, exams are quite tough as compared to the B.Com course, but the pass percentage is around 85%.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Ramanujan College is affiliated with the University of Delhi. On average about 50-60% of the students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. The minimum package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, Zomato, and Bajaj. About 60% of students got an internship in companies like Deloitte, Ferns and Petals, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered are finance associate, audit associate, marketing associate, sales executive, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Ramanujan College is new and modern. There is no hostel. The college has 5 computer labs. Most of the classes have ACs. There is a big library. There is 1 canteen and 2 cafes in Ramanujan College. Medical facilities are available in our college. Sports department of Ramanujan College is also very active.
Faculty: Teachers in this course are pretty young and updated. The course curriculum is also relevant. Proper study material is provided in the form of PPTs. Exams are difficult to score. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Fests usually happen in this college. Connectivity is pretty good. Seniors are very helpful. However, there is a minimum attendance criteria of 67%.

Good experience in Ramanujan College.
Placements: The placement for the course is below average. Only a few companies come to campus for placement. However, the placement cell does provide internships and placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is satisfactory, as the buildings are new and the classrooms are good. However, the network in the college is very poor and only available in a few areas. Although there is Wi-Fi in the college, it is only for the faculty. Also, there is no hostel in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are very experienced and are qualified from reputed universities. They are also very friendly and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and helps me understand the accounting of companies, etc. The semester exams are not easy, but the tests and internal exams are moderate.

Ramanujan College Delhi university is worth it or not!
Placements: My course is B.Com (Hons) and the average annual package is around 4-5 Lacs p.a. In the past year 2023 a total of 54 students were placed in top companies like Amazon ONGC and Google. Our placement rate is medium like 30 students got placed in a 100-student batch. My college also provides various internship opportunities as you study.
Infrastructure: There is a main building and port cabins, and new buildings are also being made. There are two grounds to play games and to sit in free time with friends. College also has a wide Wi-Fi connectivity. The classrooms have projectors installed in them, and the sports room provided various sports items. The library is very big, as is common to other colleges.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, especially for the B.Com (Hons) course, as they also studied from top colleges and are knowledgeable. They not only teach the curriculum or syllabus but also give various information about every topic. If you are unable to understand, they will teach you again and again.
Other: My batch is B.Com (Hons), and there are a great number of students. Placement is very good, and the teaching staff is also good. The course is the best in the commerce section because it has great value ahead.
