Shyam Lal College: In the Making of East Campus.
Placements: From a course like History Honours, one can give the exam for UPSC, obviously, but you can also study further for an Assistant Professor's post, and further a Ph.D. for a Professor's post. You can also continue research and apply for different platforms like ASI, the Archaeological Survey of India, and you can do many other jobs in literature.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big and spacious, but I highly dislike the benches and desks. They are comfortable if you aren't used to them. The rest, the library and other places, are decent and have all the basic and good facilities, from a reading room to an amphitheater, a ground for sports to a garden to sit and relax. Every other infrastructure is good and in nice condition. The canteen staff is also good, serving good South Indian food at affordable rates. A place is reserved especially for NCC cadets to practice, and water coolers are at almost every crossing corridor. The campus is small, but the infrastructure is twice as good.
Faculty: Teachers are cooperative and helpful. They are experienced as well as friendly. Nice people to talk to, even in general. I am really fond of some, like Priyanka Mam from the History Department; she is kind and full of humor. This course is generally for those who really want to pursue UPSC as a profession and for those who want to study "history" in general. Exams are not so difficult; the pattern of exams is almost the same as last year's.
Other: I chose this course because I really love history, and it will help me learn more about the past as well as my future goals. I wish the campus life could be more happening and fun, but no problem. When fests and other events are conducted, the vibe is nice and fun.

Review of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi.
Placements: If you are choosing B.A. in this college, just forget about the placement because there is no placement for B.A. students. And you should not be studying here for placement; just study for a degree and search for other options for placement because that will be a better decision.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms are neat and clean; every class has a projector, and benches are not so good and not so bad. The canteen is also not so good because the AC is not in working condition but the food is tasty and the price is also good. And the library is very good; it has a good amount of books and the infrastructure is also very good. Medical facilities are not so good. And sports and games are there and there are NCC and NSS also.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and their explanation is very good; they have a lot of knowledge and they are helpful. They also give good guidance and always cooperate with you. And this course is relevant, but it does not make you industry-ready; it makes it easy to fight for competitive exams. And the semester exams are not so difficult and the passing CGPA is 5.5.
Other: I chose this course because I like studying history and it was my passion. And the best thing about my course is that we learn so many things beside studies, like we will be able to see how archeology works. And events are also not there on the college campus. The crowd is decent and there is no college near this college. The main thing I want to make clear is that this is off-campus college; it is not the best college on the north campus.

Barbaadi ka naam Shyam Lal.
Placements: Honestly speaking, don't expect any placement from college. Although college as a placement cell but it's very inactive, members are not updated about any kind of events that are to be happened. However still couples of students of B.Com (H) used to manage how to attract package of 2-3 lacs, but for B.A. (H) course there is no way of getting any kind of opportunity.
Infrastructure: Classes of college are in horrible condition. 100 students are expected to sit in a class of seating capacity 30 or 40. Library is also so, there is no Wi-Fi facility in the campus, playground is also not very well maintained. College itself is very shredded that's why there is no such facility of hostel and mess is provided. College Canteen also seems like a typical Dhaba.
Faculty: Teachers have a very casual attitude towards the students. No sense of mentorship is offered by faculty members, however their are couple of teachers who are very helpful. Watching the today scenario, my course Hindi honors doest provide any kind of relevance in the market until and unless you want to be a teacher or professor of Hindi itself.
Other: I chose this course because my CUET score was not that high otherwise I wanna pursue B.A. (H) in political Science. The best thing about my course is that it provide expertise knowledge in the Hindi and one can pursue his higher studies in this domain itself. Don't expect any fest, events or too much corporate exposure from the college.

It is a respectful college that has the best faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement percentage of our college is 60%. Our college provides internship opportunities in the 5th semester. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and newly developed. Our college provides us with all facilities like chemistry labs, canteen, etc. The food served in the canteen is good and hygienic. The canteen staff's behavior is so humble. The canteen provides a variety of food items.
Faculty: Faculty members are cooperative, helpful, and humble. The course curriculum is productive and it provides great opportunities to enhance our skills. Semester exams are acceptable. The pass percentage of our college is 25%. The questions asked in exams are more likely what teachers had already taught us.
Other: I opted for B.A. history honors because I want to prepare for government exams. Our college should provide Hindi study materials. Our college has many cultural societies like Aakrosh, the street play society, Arodhya the dance society, etc. They played a huge role in college cultural growth.

Our college provides great faculty members and good exposure.
Placements: There are no placements for our course, but for other courses like B.Com, etc., a few companies come here to offer placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and infrastructure are not up to the mark. The library is average. Students can go to study rooms to study. There are many rest rooms for girls. Our college has various labs like computer lab, chemistry lab, etc., for practicals.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. They give their best to teach students. Semester exams are difficult if you are not prepared. Around 40% is needed in both practical and theory to pass semester exams. Material quality and faculty members are excellent.
Other: I chose this course to prepare for civil services with history as an optional subject in the marine examination. Our college organises various events, fests, etc., which provide exposure to students initially. Many societies are there to join, like a debating society called Sheershasth and Sambhavam for preparation for civil services.
