This is the best college of my life for my career.
Placements: Fourth-semester students are eligible for campus placement. The salary package offered is very good, starting from 8 LPA with the highest salary package being 13 LPA. Top reputed companies have visited our college and we get good positions in these companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel of our college is very good. The room allotted to us is spacious with three of us sharing one room. The facilities inside the room are great and each room has an attached bathroom. The food in our hostel is also good and the food in the mess is tasty and delicious.
Faculty: This is the best course of my life as I loved it, so I chose it. We have good teaching management in our college and all the teachers are highly qualified, with some holding PhDs. The teaching methods of our teachers are excellent and easy to understand. We have semester exams.

Canteen - Food tastes good and is a value for money.
Placements: There are two practice schools. The first is after the 2nd year and the other one in the 4th year, which is basically an internship program that guarantees you an internship. Students sit in placements in the 4th year, and they can also go for internships in the 4th year as well and hope to get a pre-placement offer. The highest package offered was ₹1.33 CPA by DaVinci Derivatives, and the average package ranges between 20-22 lakhs. The placement rate is about 91%.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are great, but there's a limitation of only four students per department per year—2 boys and 2 girls, with a mix of general and reserved categories. The monthly fee is around 9000-10000, which is affordable. The food is excellent, with a diverse menu and meals served at proper timings. It also has a common room for both boys and girls' hostels, a table tennis and badminton court, and a garden nearby.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very up-to-date and very flexible. There is a dual degree scheme, which is basically an MSc + BE degree. The BE degree is allotted on the basis of your first (common year) cutoff. Students can add on an MSc degree if they want at the end of the first year and explore the field of natural sciences and research. The branch transfer option is also there. These things make BITS' curriculum the most flexible one in the country. The relevance of the curriculum is also good.

Locality- it is on a 5 min walking distance from the nearest bus and metro stop.
Placements: Placement opportunities are less for M.Sc. students. Most of them prefer to go into the classroom. In my batch, very few students SAT for the placements. Companies that participated were JP Morgan, Microsoft, Bajaj, Samsung, HP, VISA, Adobe, Amazon, CISCO, OYO, American Express, etc. And they brought forth over 172 pre-placement offers. The highest CTC went to Rs. 1.03 CPA and the international CTC was Rs. 1.53 CPA.
Infrastructure: Sri Venkateswara College provides hostel facilities for top students. Students who got good marks in the previous semester are only eligible for a hostel. If you are a topper in a certain course, you will be eligible for a hostel. Otherwise, they won't consider you. There are only 72 seats (3 years) for boys and 72 seats (3 years) for girls. The hostel fee is Rs 9,100 per month, including food, etc. Hostel Fee: INR 104000 per year.
Faculty: I chose this course because I want to study nanoscience; that's why I have chosen it. In NIT Durgapur, there are 12 faculty members, including the head. Honestly speaking, they are extremely good; they behave like their friends. You can share any kind of problem with our professor. They are all down to earth. They are all highly educated; some of them have done their postdoctoral work abroad. They had published lots of articles. Every month, they conduct assignments, or assessment and end-term exams. And question level is not very difficult if you follow and note down all the speech. Class size:-59 The course costs INR 14500 per year.
