Placements: Placements in our 2025 batch have been very positive. Many reputed companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Cognizant visited our campus. The highest package reached up to 25 LPA, with good average offers around 4-5 LPA. Internship opportunities and diverse roles like software engineer and data analyst also added great value. Overall, placements are improving year by year.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-maintained classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi access across the campus, and computer labs that are adequately equipped for practical sessions. The library is spacious with a good collection of books and digital resources. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, though sometimes maintenance takes time. The mess food is average and repetitive, but the canteen provides better options. Medical facilities are available on campus with a health center and emergency care. Overall, the campus provides a balanced environment for academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are helpful and well-qualified. They have good subject knowledge. Most of them explain concepts clearly and support students during projects and placements. The course curriculum is fairly relevant covering both theoretical and practical aspects though a few topics could be more industry-focused. With proper effort, students become industry-ready especially when they engage in projects and internships. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and neither too tough nor too easy. With regular study and attendance, it is manageable. The pass percentage is usually above 85%, as students get enough support and resources to clear their subjects.
Other: I chose EEE because I have always been curious about how electrical systems work and wanted a balance between core and IT career options. The best part about the course is the mix of theory, practical labs, and project opportunities. However, more industry-like training and core placements would be a great improvement.
