SEED Results 2026: Symbiosis Institute of Design will release the SEED 2026 results for the B.Des programme on January 19, 2026 (Monday), and the list for SEED PRPI will be declared on January 23, 2026. The SEED Result will be declared on the official website. Candidates can check the result by logging in with their credentials.
The PRPI shortlist includes candidates' names for the next admission process. The candidate included in the list need to book their slots. The PRPI will be held as per the slot selected by the candidate. Slots will be allocated to candidates based on the options selected by them. Candidates who are included in the shortlist must participate and upload their design portfolios.

The SEED First Merit List is for students who have cleared the SEED Entrance Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interaction. The dates for the first merit list are yet to be declared by the institute. It is expected to be out in the last week of April 2026 for the B.Des programme and in the second week of May 2026 for the M.Des programme. The merit list will be prepared based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in the SEED 2026 exam, PRPI, and the task uploaded.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) released the first merit list in the last week of April 2025. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website: sid.edu.in.
To download the merit list, the candidate will have to log in to the result portal using their B.Des ID and password.
The merit list will include the merit rank of the candidate and the seat allotment status. Candidates who are included in the merit list will have to get registered for the programme.
SEED Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) will be conducted in two phases. Phase I will be conducted in March 2026. Phase 2 will be conducted in April 2026. Candidates will be notified for the next phase in which they have to appear.

Candidates can check their results by following the steps given below.
- Visit the official website of SID
- Click on the ‘Know your Admission Status’ link
- Enter SEED B. Des/M.Des ID and password
- Click on the ‘Login’ button
- View SEED 2026 result
- Download and print the results for the SEED 2026 written exam.

Digital portfolio should be a compilation of the best work of the candidate that showcases candidate’s skills, passion and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. It is recommended to take good quality pictures of work and compile them in a Power Point Presentation.
The slot booking process of SEED 2025 for the Personal Interaction will open on January 21, 2025.
Candidates who have qualified in the written exams have to book their slots by January 29, 2025. The slot booking process will open online at sid.edu.in.
You need to log in to the portal using your log-in ID and password to book your slots.
Upon successful slot booking, call letters will be issued.
The start date for uploading portfolios has not been declared yet, but it is expected to be in the last week of March 2026. The portfolio upload link was given on the SID admission portal. The candidate needed to follow the specified guidelines when uploading the portfolio.

What after SEED 2026 result?
The score of the SEED 2026 written exam will be used to shortlist candidates for a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) round.
The PRPI for SID will be conducted in TWO rounds.
- The first round is expected to be held in the last week of March 2026. Meanwhile, the second round of PRPI is expected to be conducted in the second week of April 2026.
- Candidates who are included in the PRPI shortlist will have to book their slots.
- Next, they have to upload their portfolios and Portfolio tasks.
- The Symbiosis Institute of Design is expected to release the first merit list for B.Des admissions 2026 in the third week of April 2026. The merit list will be prepared based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in the SEED 2025 exam, PRPI, and the task uploaded.
- The First Merit list for M.Des is expected to be released in the third week of May 2026.

Candidates who are included in the waiting list will be considered for admission only if there are any vacancies. The seat allotment for waiting list candidates will be conducted if there are any vacant seats left.
The allotment of seats in this case will be based on SEED 2025 merit ranks.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has launched a Master of Design (M. Des) in the field of User Experience Design. The duration of the programme is two years, which carries 80 credits, and the degree is awarded by the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune.

The B.Des programme has an intake capacity of 180 seats (Indian nationals only). In addition, there are 27 seats reserved for international students. The candidate may note that the seat intake is however subject to approval from SIU. There is also reservation of seats for SC, ST, and Differently Abled candidates.
The B.Des programme is available in four specialisations - Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the SEED 2025 written exam on January 12, 2025. The exam will be of 1 hour duration (to be conducted between 10 am to 4 pm).
The exam slot allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.
