SEED Slot Booking 2027 - The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the slot booking tentatively for Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) for Round 1 and Round 2 on March 28, 2027 and March 31, 2027. Candidates need to participate in the PRPI on the given dates. As part of the PRPI, the candidate needs to perform a PRPI task and upload their portfolio. The guidelines for the PRPI will be outlined in the SID admission portal.
Candidates included in the PRPI shortlist can appear in the PRPI round. Admission to Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will be based on the written exam (SEED), portfolio review, and personal interaction. Candidates must check the detailed admission schedule and register for the SEED Exam.

How to book slots for SID Design Admission Process 2027?
Candidates can book slots for personal interaction as given below.
- Go to website
- Click on admissions tab and the link for SEED Slot booking under this tab
- Log in with user ID and password
- You will be given dates and time slots for your respective colleges that you can choose from
- If you are interested in participating in both design institutes, then you can book slots accordingly
- Once slot booking is complete, you will be sent a confirmation email and SMS to your registered email address and phone numbers

The portfolio for SID 2027 should include the following items:

- Instead of including run-of-the-mill works, include items that will help you to stand out from the crowd.

FAQs on SEED Slot Booking
A few more important FAQs related to the SEED 2027 mock test and exam are given below.
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) does not have any provisions for direct admission to the second year. So, candidates have to take admission in the first year of the B.Des program. Note that admission to the B.Des is only through the SEED exam.
Scores of the qualifying exam will not be considered for admission to the B.Des program. Neither does SID accept scores of other popular entrance exams like NIFT, NID DAT, etc.
As per information on SID website, the institute does not promote or is aware of any coaching classes/preparatory classes. So, the candidate can decide whether they want to join any coaching institute or not. Note that there are many coaching institutes that offer preparation classes for exams like NIFT, NID DAT, etc.
Candidates can also download online study material after paying charges.
Candidates who are shortlisted for the PRPI need to upload portfolio and PRPI task starting in the last week of March 2027.
The portfolio and PRPI upload link will be available on the SID website after the candidate has booked the Personal Interaction slots.
SEED written will have 60 questions and will be of 60 minutes. The questions will include MCQ, Match the Columns, Fill in the blanks, image based and comprehension based.
Paper will contain a mix of questions related to Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment.

The start date for uploading portfolios has not been declared yet, but it is expected to be in the last week of March. The portfolio upload link was given on the SID admission portal. The candidate needed to follow the specified guidelines when uploading the portfolio.
