SEED Application Form 2027 - Symbiosis Institute of Design will soon begin the application for 2027. It is expected to open the application for B.Des in the first week of August for B.Des. To apply for SEED 2027, go to the portal and click on the registration tab. Get registered, create an applicant account, fill out essential details, upload documents, and pay the exam fee. The SEED 2027 Application fee is expected to be around Rs. 3250/-.

Steps to Fill SEED Application Form 2027
Registration: Aug ' 26 - Dec ' 26
The application form for SEED 2027 has to be filled out online. Candidates must ensure that they only use genuine and verifiable information when filling out the form. This is because all details will be verified at the time of SEED counseling and seat allotment. If any discrepancy is found, the candidate may be disqualified.
Step 1: Register for the SEED Exam
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria have to click on the application link. Then, click on 'New User? Register Now' tab. Read all the 'Terms and Conditions' thoroughly and click on the 'I Agree' tab. Complete the registration process.
Step 2: Fill out the SEED 2027 Application form
Next, fill in your personal, professional, educational, and contact details in the SID Exam application form. Candidates also need to upload their latest passport-size photograph (not more than three months old) in jpg, png, or gif format. The size should be between 10 and 150 kb.

Step 3: Pay the Application fee
The entrance registration fee for SEED is Rs. 3250/- (Rs. 2250/- for SEED & Rs. 1000/- for SID). SEED 2027 application fee has to be paid online.
Step 4: Submit the SEED Exam Application form
Once all the above-mentioned steps are complete, candidates will be sent an email confirmation that contains their application number. The SEED Admit Card will be issued to only those candidates who have received this email confirmation. Apart from this, candidates also need to register for admission at specific institutes of Symbiosis International University, in which they want to secure admission.

SEED Eligibility Criteria
Symbiosis Institute of Design will release the eligibility criteria of SEED 2027 for admission to the B.Des program. The candidate must ensure they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, as otherwise they may be disqualified at any stage of the admission process.
SEED Eligibility Criteria 2027 for B.Des
- Cleared Class 12 (from any stream, e.g., Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent (Or)
- Cleared 10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).
- Aspirants who are appearing for their final exams in the 10+2 or 10+3 diploma programs exam pattern also meet the SEED 2027 eligibility criteria on the condition that their final exam results are declared by June of the admission year.
- Note: Any candidate who fails in his/her Class 12 examination but later appears for and clears the immediate compartmental examination, which is held in the same year, in their first attempt, is eligible for provisional admissions at SID.
SEED Eligibility Criteria 2027 for M.Des
- Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialization, after 12th standard or equivalent to the 12th standard from any university or institute recognised by law in India.
- Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design/Fine Arts/Applied Arts/ Architecture, after 12th standard or equivalent to 12th standard, from any university or institute recognised by law in India. With a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).
Commonly asked questions
The SEED application fee is INR. 3250 (INR. 2250/- for SEED & INR. 1000/- for SID). The fee has to be paid online. Offline payments will not be accepted.
Candidates may note that the registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. So, the candidate needs to go forward and pay the application fee only if they are sure about appearing in the SEED exam.
SID opens applications for B.Des and M.Des in two rounds. The exams are held separately for both the rounds.
The application form of SEED has to be filled online. There is no option to apply for the exam in offline mode.
- To fill out the form, go to the SID admission portals. Click on the registration link and get registered. Upon registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Next, log in to the portal complete the rest of the form, including uploading of documents and payment of fees.

Eligibility criteria for admission to B.Des programme SEED is
- There is no age limit for admission to the B.Des program
- Candidate must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised board or 10+3 Diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education.
- Candidate needs to have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes) in the qualifying exam.
- Candidates from any stream having completed or appeared for 10+2 can apply for any specialisation in design at SID.
The Symbiosis institute of Design (SID) usually does not have an application correction windows. So, candidates must be careful when filling out the SEED application form. Note that if any incorrect information is furnished in the application, the candidate may be disqualified. The SID admission committee will check candidate information at the time of counseling and seat allotment.
Note that if SID decides to give candidates an option to edit the application form for the next academic session, the same will be updated here.
If you provide incorrect or false data, you may be disqualified from the SEED Admission Process. SID admission will have a counselling round, where all the information provided by the candidate will be verified. The candidate will be considered for admission only if the verification process is successful.
SEED Exam is held online, so candidates are not required to select any centre at the time of filling the form.
