Good campus life with a few limitations.
Placements: The eligibility criteria for most placements include a minimum 60% aggregate (no active backlogs). Good communication skills, aptitude, and basic technical knowledge (especially for IT/tech roles). The highest package offered is around 10 LPA (for product-based tech roles). The average package remains between 3.5 LPA-4.5 LPA. Placement rate is around 70%-80% for eligible students (varies by branch). While my overall experience at Techno Main Salt Lake has been positive, there are a few areas that could be improved. Firstly, placement opportunities for non-CS/IT branches are relatively limited, and core companies visit less frequently compared to IT firms.
Infrastructure: There are several things I genuinely like about Techno Main Salt Lake. Firstly, the infrastructure is modern and well-maintained. Classrooms are clean, equipped with projectors, and labs have updated systems and equipment. Secondly, the canteen food quality and variety could be better, especially for students who stay for long hours. Lastly, the campus area is a bit compact, so it lacks open space for recreation or outdoor activities.

I would recommend it to students looking for a balance between academics and career growth. I also enjoy the vibrant campus life, with regular events, fests like Y-Teach, and active student clubs that make learning more fun and engaging. The location is another plus, as it's situated in the Salt Lake IT hub, providing easy access to internships and industry exposure.

One of the best colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed from our course. The average package is above 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Nearly 100% of students got internships from our courses. The top roles offered are data scientist, junior web developer, and many more.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good for our courses. Wi-Fi labs are available. There is a good atmosphere in the classroom. There is no hostel facility in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-educated. All the teachers hold a Ph.D. degree. Teachers are very helpful and friendly to the students. Teaching quality is also top-notch. This course is relevant to the students and makes them ready for industrial work. Nearly all the students pass the college exams.

Techno Main Salt Lake Ki Baatein.
Placements: Placement of this college was very good. Most of the students got placed through campus, I mean 80% of students got placed last year, and 150+ companies came to this college for interviews and took students for jobs. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, and many more came to this college.
Infrastructure: No, there was no hostel facility in this college, and the infrastructure was not so bad and not so good. It was average, and the classrooms were good, but they didn’t have AC. The food at the college canteen was so poor, and the Wi-Fi facility was not good because the network was no more in college.
Faculty: The course curriculum was good because they took labs every day. This college also provides English classes for those people who are weak in English, and the teacher teaches us about interviews and prepares us to give any interview. The semester exam was easy, and the passing marks were 40 out of 100.
Other: I chose this college because the placement record of this college was good compared to other colleges, and I wish that the time duration of the examination will be better after a year. There are many events and fests in this college, and famous singer Shilpa Rao and many more also come to their fest for performances.

Overall, it is good but needs improvement on campus and building.
Placements: In 3rd year, if you have skills and a good CGPA throughout the college you are going to get placements. Approximately 95% of students got placed, no matter what their package was. Recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro. College will provide internships so everyone will be able to avail of this otherwise, you can get as much as you can from off-campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite okay. Wi-Fi is available on campus. College for only first-year students. Classrooms are non-AC but in lab AC is available. Library will provide you with free books for your semester. On campus hostel is not there. College will provide you hostel which is affiliated with college and that hostel is literally so bad can say the worst.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable. You can check the syllabus on www.makaut syllabus.com which is what the teachers teach us throughout the year. Semester exams are around a moderate level as this college is not autonomous, so questions come from MAKAUT University.

My review about my college & why you should take admission in this college.
Placements: About 80% of students get placements every year on campus. The top companies that visit my college are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, IBM, Cognizant, Paytm, Deloitte. The highest package of my course is 37 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 lacs per annum, as I know. The average package is 5 lacs per annum. Many internships are available here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not modern but clean and well-maintained. The capacity of classrooms is 60 students. Laboratories are well-equipped and modern. In classrooms and laboratories, there is Wi-Fi available everywhere. My library is not so big. It has many books, but it is very small and not well-organized. There is no hostel on campus; in fact, my college does not have any hostels. We rent a PG 2.5 km away from the college and travel the same distance every day to go to college. The college does not have any big playgrounds for outdoor games.
Faculty: Faculty members are very kind and experienced. They all have experience in teaching. There are so many faculty members in my college. Most of them are interesting and amazing, but some of them are boring during lectures. Some of our faculty members explain every topic very easily and in detail. They are helpful. My course is relevant to industrial applications. Semester exams are very difficult in my college. They ask very tough questions in the semester exams. 90% of students pass every semester.
Other: I chose this course because it is affordable. I'm interested in this course. My college has a small campus, so there are many crowds. Several events are organized by the college. The college is 2.5 km away from my PG, so I have to travel that distance every day. There are buses available, so there's nothing to worry about. There are also many scholarship facilities.

Yes, one can opt for branch change in second year based on his/her score in first year but in the same college only. First year is common for all branches, transfer to another branch is not a problem. You can change the branch in any college but also check the college norms.
