This is the best in Kurukshetra
Placements: Kurukshetra University offered the best placements for the students. The highest package of this college was 60 LPA. The lowest package of this college was 7 LPA. At least 60 percent was required for internship purposes. There were many well-known companies like HCL and TCS that visited this college every year for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was very good for the students. There were many facilities provided by this college for the students, like all-time Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms of this college were fully air-conditioned. This college had a big hostel where students live together. The food quality in the hostel and mess was very good.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college were very kind and supportive. They were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum provided by this college was relevant for the students in one semester. This made the students industry-ready. There were many exams organised at this university so students performed well in the sessional examinations.
Other: This university organised many fests and events for the students every year. It provided scholarship facilities for students.

Overall, it is an average college.
Placements: According to the data, almost all students get placed, especially students whose CGPA is good. The highest package is 42 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies that visit our college for placements are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Byju's, etc. Students apply for off-campus placement to get a good package. Internships are done by referrals and with skills.
Infrastructure: As the institute is a government so facilities are average. The infrastructure or building is okay, in terms of looks. It provides facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, and good labs. The library is good according to the environment and infrastructure. The quality of hostels is good. There is also a reading room inside the hostel. It provides a gym for girls separately. Medical facilities are not very good. There is a sports complex also for both girls and boys.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Some teachers are very helpful and give guidance. They also provide a roadmap for the future. But some of them teach their subjects only. But the overall faculty members are good. The course curriculum is okay. I am personally not satisfied with the course curriculum. The difficulty level of the semester exams totally depends on the teacher to teacher. But the checking is very strict. The pass criteria are to score 28 marks in each subject to pass.
Other: The most important factor in choosing this college is that the fee is good compared to other colleges. It is also a government institute. My course is also available here. I want to improve the hygiene first. That is washrooms are not clean many times. Clubs are not very active. In fact, my stream club, that is Hail Jarvis, is not active. Events and fests are sometimes organised. It also provides scholarships.

Satisfied with faculty and placements.
Placements:
B.Tech computer science and engineering average package is around 5 LPA-6 LPA. The highest package is around 50 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc., visited campus recently. Also, internship opportunities are given.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure and facilities are good. Wi-Fi is excellent. Labs are amazing for every branch, especially computer science and engineering and electronics and communication engineering. Classrooms and library are also good. Hostel facilities are good. Good experience overall.
Faculty: Faculty is very professional and experienced. Teachers are very helpful and friendly. All teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Industrial training opportunities are also provided. The teaching quality is very good. Students have to prepare hard for semester exams.

Typical old style college with no fests and no social life.
Placements: The placements are not so much, but with good grades and practicals, you can easily get a job of about 3 to 4 lakh per annum. Last year, out of 50 students, they were placed out of 600. Average package is 2 lakhs per annum.
I think 20% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: I think facilities are worse. The department lacks basic facilities, such as proper cleaning .even sometimes there is no water on campus. The building is old and the facilities and infrastructure are dissatisfactory. I think that this college has worse facilities out of any college in the world.
Faculty: Yes, no doubt all the teachers are very well educated and smart but they are lazy. They have knowledge but they can't share their knowledge with students. They only wanted money. They are relaxed, never come on time, always scolding students; in short, they are chill, no care regarding students lives and their careers.

Really good library facilities and placements in 2021.
Placements: 40% of students were placed in my courses passing out batch. The highest package in my course was 20 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 3 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies in my course were TCS, Infosys, and Maruti Suzuki. 60% of my course passing out batch got internships, of which some got online internships from Internshala and some got offline internships from regional companies. The top role offered in my course was data analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are good in my department; there is free wi-fi available, and the lab facilities in my department are average. Not all the computers in my lab are in working state; some are damaged also, and it takes time to repair them. Classrooms are good, and there is also a library facility in my department that is good and ventilated. The quality of food in my hostel is good, and the gaming facility in my hostel is average; there are no medical facilities in my hostel.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also good; they will help students if they face any problems in their studies. Yes, my course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready because my curriculum is timely updated by department according to the newest industry standards. My semester exams have a medium-difficult level and are good. The pass percentage in my college is 60%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer science and good job opportunities in the computer science course. The best thing about my course is that it provides a good package. Improvement of labs in my course would be better. There are also events organized in my college, and there are government scholarships provided by my college.

Hi Ojas,
It will be very difficult for you to get computer science engineering in this college. You should try for other branches like IT, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering etc. Chances of getting a seat in these branches are high.
