A good campus for M.Tech.

Placements: 100% placement is provided by the college. The only thing the student should do is acquire some good skills along with the academic syllabus. The highest package was 2.1 CR, the lowest package was 8 LPA and average package was 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Google, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were so good. The hostel was very comfortable and a good environment is present at the campus. For every lab, all proper working computers are provided with well-updated systems. The hostel mess food was good-tasting, with a variety of items.

Faculty: Highly trained faculty taught us. They are broad-minded about the subject and have a good amount of knowledge. A pleasant relationship is established between the student and teacher. End exams will be done very strictly. No one can heat up for the exams. The pass percentage was 100%.

Best college in Nagpur for M.Tech.

Placements: Every year, there is a rise in the number of companies visiting the campus. Around 150 companies are expected to visit for recruitments. TnP office has started providing trainings on basic coding skills, interview skills, and group discussion. B.Tech placements are excellent. Roles like GET are the most common roles offered. M.Tech placements are very low. Only a few companies allow M.Tech students to sit for placements.

Infrastructure: In your hostel room, you will get one bed and a wardrobe. Each room has a separate balcony. PG students get single occupancy rooms, while UG students get double occupancy rooms. Mess food quality is average, and the menu keeps on changing as per the students' demands. Registration for the hostel can be done online on the VNIT website. The monthly rent is Rs.8000 (inclusive of Hostel and Mess).

Faculty: I did my M.Tech in CadCam. There were 22 students in my class and we had 15 teachers for my M.Tech specialization in VNIT. So the faculty:student ratio was very good. All the professors held PhDs from reputed and old IITs and had good industry experience too. Exams were conducted online for the last 1.5 years, and they were of moderate difficulty level.

Other: I chose this course because I did my B.Tech from the same branch.

Satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Placements for M.Tech students in this college are about 90%. Many companies visit our college like Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Internships are not provided by the college in M.Tech; they are indeed in B.Tech but not in M.Tech. We have to do it on our own. The highest package offered to our students is 30 LPA, and the lowest is 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. There are a lot of facilities available on the campus. Wi-Fi facility, hostel facility—all the necessary needs in the classroom are there. The campus also has a swimming pool, and we also have a big field in our college for sports and other events.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified as they have very different and effective teaching skills. As well, teachers also have such frank behavior that we miss our teachers. Semester exams were easy. All the percentages of passing are dependent on how we present in the class and focus in the class. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in computer-related branches.

Review of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Around 20 students got placed out of 22. Still placements are going-on and companies are visiting for recruitment. The highest salary package given by siemens software solution is 14 LPA and least salary package is 4 LPA. Average salary package is around 8 LPA. Around 8 people were placed in core domain like designing, and 11 in software development like CAD development and remaining in Edtech. Companies like Dassault systems, Siemens, TCS, Cognizant, L&T visit campus for recruitment. Around 40% people got internship.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with all the labs to work 24x7 after taking specific permissions. Separate rooms are allotted to each student in hostel. Indoor complex is also good for badminton. Mess food quality is average.

Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. holders and are helpful. Course curriculum is more inclined towards placements and is helpful in getting job. Exams are of moderate level, one can pass easily if studied well. If someone interested in research work then don't join this course. This course is only to get you a good salary paying job.

Other: Everything is best. Good crowd which will help you to make your personality good. Campus is situated in central area of Nagpur which is 5km from railway station.

Good faculty. Strict curriculum. The placements are not high for M.Tech.

Placements: M.Tech placements are not so good as B.Tech here. Most of the companies allow only B.Tech students to sit in interview rounds. Compared to other NITS, the placements are somewhat better. The faculty part is best. Teachers try their level best to share their knowledge, and it's up to us to adapt and grasp those things.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very modern, but new building constructions are going. So, it might have a chance for newcomers to enjoy that facility. Overall, it's good. T&P cell is there, and it conducts workshops to improve students communication skills. The medical facilities are always available at any time. One desperate health center department is also available.

Faculty: The best thing is, even they care about M.Tech students in a curriculum point of view, the faculty will hold the classes regularly without any bunks. It's a good part compare to other NITS. Teachers are highly qualified. Almost all of them Ph.D. holders. The teaching methods are good.

Other: Every month, there will be inter-college activities so that people can build their personal and communication skills.
