There are good placements in 2025, and VNR offers various branches.

Placements: Currently, 45% of students from my course get placed. It is only halfway through the semester. The highest package is 65 LPA from Atlassian. There are other packages such as 42 LPA from ServiceNow and 19 LPA from JPMC. Other companies include Infosys, TCS, LSEG, Chubb, etc.

Infrastructure: Every lab is equipped with LAN connections, and as an alternative, there is Wi-Fi. The classrooms are large and well-lit. You have access to a wide range of books in the library. There is a special block that facilitates all athletes. There is a huge ground that can cater to all kinds of sports.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly. They are always available for any kind of queries. They are experienced and share their knowledge with us. The curriculum is updated from time to time so that students are ready to work in the industry. Various workshops and lectures are conducted throughout the course. It helps students and make them up to par with the current industry.

Dissatisfied with hostel feels but happy with infrastructure, faculty, placements.

Placements: Around 70 percent of students get placed, and while the packages are not very high, they are decent. But compared to other colleges, VNRVJIET has good placements. For our batch, placements started four months ago, and nearly 40 companies have visited so far. The highest package is 25 LPA from Odisha, the average is around 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, and Virtusa. However, the college does not focus much on providing internships, so most students rely on referrals or personal contacts. The major roles offered are software engineering, development, and testing.

Infrastructure: Classrooms have projectors, fans, lights, and dedicated labs for each department, though there are no AC rooms. Wi-Fi is available for all students. The college has a large library that everyone can access and borrow books from for free. Hostel food quality is decent, and the rooms are neat and cleaned daily. However, there are no medical facilities in the hostel. Students have access to a gym, box cricket, volleyball, and basketball courts, and a ground. Indoor games like carrom, table tennis, and chess are also available in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. But mostly we prepare from YouTube classes. The course curriculum is not that relevant to the industry. We are still learning the same old concepts in the class. I can say the semester exams are moderate since they are prepared by JNTU college. The pass percentage in my course is 70 percent.

Other: I have no particular reason for choosing this course. But the best thing about the course is that it's simple and easy. I wish the course should more concentrate on AI since AI is the future and we should know more about it. There will be two events in our college. One is technical event Convergence and the other is annual event Scintillations. There are different clubs in the college, you can join those clubs and improve your connectivity.

VNR offers good teaching, placements, and an enjoyable campus atmosphere.

Placements: I am from the Computer Science department, and the placements in VNR are good compared to other colleges. Almost 50 percent of students are placed by half of the year, and also many students have 2 to 3 job offers in their hand. The highest package is around 70 LPA from Atlassian, and the average is 7 LPA. Many companies like Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant visit our college. Almost 70 percent of people got internships from my course. Top roles offered are developer, tester, business analyst, and consultancy roles.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good for our course. Classrooms are well cleaned and maintained, and every classroom has projectors. The labs have all the required equipment, and Wi-Fi works well in academic blocks. The library is spacious with a good number of books. The hostel facilities are also decent, rooms are cleaned and maintained daily. There is proper security, and Wi-Fi is available. The food is really amazing.

Faculty: The faculty in VNR is generally good and supportive. Most teachers are well qualified and explain the concepts clearly. They are approachable if we have any doubts regarding anything. They mentor us not only academically but also through life. They guide us with everything.

Other: Campus life at VNR is really enjoyable. There are plenty of events happening in college throughout the year. Our main fest, Scintillations, is the best part of the college. There are many clubs we can join based on our interest. I took this course because I love computers and I am passionate about Computer Science.

This college was literally the best one for me because faculty was extremely talented.

Placements: 65 percent of students from our course got selected in the campus placements in various companies. The highest package was around 3 LPA. The lowest package was around 2 LPA, and the average package was around 2.5 LPA. Approximately 56 percent of students completed their internships in companies like IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The top roles were designing and manufacturing the chip.

Infrastructure: The college facilities were outstanding throughout the academic years. They provided many facilities like bus transportation, AC labs, seminar halls, a library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, project labs, and well-ventilated classrooms. The medical services were provided 24/7, including an ambulance facility. Games and sports were played regularly in the college. The quality of the food in the hostel, mess, and canteen was also great, with reasonable prices.

Faculty: Faculty of our course were excellent, providing proper explanations of the concepts to the students. Their teaching quality was top-notch throughout the academics. Most faculty were highly qualified and very knowledgeable in their course. The course curriculum was really relevant because it made many students industry-ready. The semester exams were not very difficult, and we could pass easily. The pass percentage was around 75 percent.

Other: The course I chose kept me motivated every single day for my future development, so I chose this course. Improvements like replacing the outdated computers in the laboratory were needed. The occasions in the college, like tours, fests, farewells, freshers’ parties, and crowd meetings, were great in the college.
