NIFT 2026 Counselling is expected to be conducted in 4- 5 rounds in June. NIFT can also conduct Spot counselling if there are vacant seats after the subsequent counselling rounds. NIFT Counselling will begin at admissions.nic.in. NIFT has requested candidates to keep all the documents ready for the e-counselling process.

NIFT 2026 Counselling is expected to begin soon. Candidates must keep the documents handy for the NIFT Seat Allotment. If documents are uploaded on time, candidates can loose thier seat. Let's check the NIFT counselling document list.

NIFT Document List 2026

NIFT 2026 Counselling is expected to be conducted in 4- 5 rounds in June. NIFT can also conduct Spot counselling if there are vacant seats after the subsequent counselling rounds. NIFT Counselling will begin at admissions.nic.in. NIFT has requested candidates to keep all the documents ready for the e-counselling process. Candidates must keep the self-attested copies of valid documents / Annexures ready in PDF format as per the programme wise list. Documents must be correct and in PDF Format. Size of each document has to be between 100 KB to 500 KB. Admission to NIFT will only be confirmed after successful document verification and fee payment. 

Candidates who are shortlisted for the NIFT counselling process need to:

  • Register for NIFT counselling at NIFT website.
  • Pay the registration fee (non-refundable)
  • Fill in choices of academic programs and campuses

Yes, a non-refundable registration fee is applicable during the counselling process. The amount and payment details will be mentioned in the official counselling notification.

Q:   Can I get other colleges from NIFT counselling that I haven't listed on my application?
A: 

No, you cannot get into NIFT colleges that you have not listed in your counselling application.

  1. The NIFT counseling process is done after the exam to allot colleges to qualified students in participating institutes.
  2. Once the NIFT exam results are announced by the NTA,   NIFT will declare its counseling schedule.
  3. You will be required to participate in the counseling process at your preferred institute. The university will assign you to a NIFT Institute based on your score, rank and preferences.
  4. If you have not listed any college, you will not get a seat allocation in that college even if you meet the qualifying cutoff.

There is no fixed number of mock tests one should take before the NIFT Entrance Exam. A candidate should take at least one mock test daily for the NIFT Entrance Preparation. 10-15 mock tests will really help in preparing for the exam.
