National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam 2025 ( NIFT Entrance Exam )
NIFT Exam Centre 2025 - NTA released the Admit card for Stage 2 Examinations for B.Des and B.F Tech on its official website. The exam was held at 26 centres in 18 cities of the country. The Stage 2 Situation test was on June 08, 2025. The centre details are mentioned in the Admit card. Candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof along with the Admit Card to the Test Centre. It is mandatory to reach the centre before 9:30 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam after 9:30 AM.
NTA released the City Intimation Slip for Stage 2 for UG programmes on the official website ahead of the Admit Card. The slip can be downloaded using the Application number and date of birth.

NIFT has announced the date for the Stage 2 Examination. The Examination will be conducted on June 08, 2025, for the B.Des Programme. For the M. Des and other PG programmes, the personal interview will start from May 26, 2025. The Exact date, timing and centre will be there in the NIFT Stage 2 Admit Card.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the written exams for NIFT 2025 in 82 cities across India. The list of exam centres for NIFT 2025 is given in the admission portal. The candidate had to select their preferred exam center when filling out the NIFT application form 2025. The candidate had to select the city from the drop-down menu in the order of priority. The name of the exam city allocated to the candidate will be notified through the NIFT 2025 city intimation slip. NTA released the NIFT city intimation slip 2025 on January 31, 2025. The candidates can download the city slip online and learn about the exam center allocated to them. The city slip will be available for all candidates who registered for the NIFT exam. The candidate is urged to carefully go through all the details mentioned in the city slip.
The NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted in 82 cities.
The list of exam cities is published on the NIFT 2025 admission brochure. The name and adress of the exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the NIFT 2025 admit card.
The exam city will be allocated basis information provided at the time of filling out the NIFT 2025 application form. Once an exam centre has been allocated, requests for a change will not be entertained.
The GAT paper for all the B.Des and M.Des courses was conducted from 9 am - 11 am. Meanwhile, the GAT written exam for B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M. courses was conducted from 9 am - 12 noon.
Candidates needed to report to the NIFT 2025 exam centre at least an hour in advance.
Note that the CAT paper for the B. Des and M.Des courses was held from 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm.
The purpose of reporting early is to complete admission formalities, including registration, frisking, verifying the identity of the candidate, etc. Note that the exam timings and reporting time for the NIFT 2024 exam was mentioned in the admit card.
The candidate will have the option to select NIFT 2025 exam centres at the time of filling out the application form.
The NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted across 82 cities in India. Note that each exam city may have one or more than one exam centre. So, the candidate will only be able to select an exam city, but not an exam centre. The exam centre will be allocated by the admission committee after considering factors like the address of the candidate, number of test centres in the city selected by the candidate, seat intake etc. The details of the exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.
The candidate can select a maximum of THREE exam cities; the entries must be in the order of pririty.

NIFT 2025 Written Exams - Test Timings
The exam timings for the NIFT 2025 exam are given below. The candidate must arrive at the NIFT 2025 as per the exam timings released the exam officials. No candidate will be allowed to take the design entrance exam if they are late. So, it is incumbent on the candidate that they arrive at the NIFT exam center 2025 on the designated time. NTA officials will not make any changes ot the NIFT 2025 exam timings. So, the candidate must adhere to the exam timings.

Yes, NIFT has the right to cancel any of the examination centres. Also, in such a scenario, the candidate will be allocated an alternate centre.

On the day of the NIFT exam, candidates need to positively carry all the below-mentioned documents and stationery:
- NIFT Admit Card: Candidates without a printout of the NIFT 2025 admit card will not be allowed to sit in the exam. Digital copies will not be accepted. Also, ensure that you paste a photograph on the designated space and bring the self-declaration copy duly filled in.
- Bring an additional photograph to be attached to the attendance sheet.
- The photo ID must be valid and original. Photocopies or printouts of the ID proof will not be accepted.
- Stationery: You need to bring a ballpoint pen, pencils, erasers, and rulers.
- If you are appearing in the CAT exam, then you are also allowed to bring coloring and drawing materials.

NIFT 2025 Exam Centres for the Situation Test
The NIFT 2025 Situation Test for the B.Des program will be conducted around April-May 2025. The Situation Test will be conducted offline at various NIFT campuses. Eligible candidates have to select a preferred exam center at the time of registration. Campuses will be allotted based on the options selected by the candidate.
The details of the exam center/ NIFT campus allocated to the candidate were mentioned on the NIFT 2025 admit card, along with other details like exam timings and exam-day guidelines. Meanwhile, the personal interview for the M.Des program is expected to be conducted tentatively in April-May 2025. The personal interview will be conducted in an offline mode.

Note that for NIFT 2023, the GAT written exam was re-conducted for some centres that faced technical issues. NIFT officials notified candidates about the affected centres on its official website. So, a re-exam for NIFT 2024 will only be conducted if candidates arent able to complete the GAT or CAT paper due to a technical or some other issue. In such a scenario, exam officials may decide the re-conduct the NIFT 2024 exam. Note that in the event of a re-exam, NIFT officials may issue fresh admit cards for affected candidates, along with the names of the alloted exam centres.
