UCEED Syllabus 2027 - The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, releases the syllabus for UCEED. The syllabus is released online at the UCEED - IIT Bombay admission portal. Part A of UCEED 2027 is administered in a computer-based test (CBT) mode and will have three sections (NAT, MSQ, and MCQ). Meanwhile, UCEED Part B has two sections: 1) the Drawing-based section, and 2) the Design Aptitude Section. One question is asked in each section.
IIT Bombay conducts the national-level UCEED Entrance Examination in the third week of January, 2027. The merit rank of UCEED 2027 will be used to offer admission to the B.Des program offered by participating institutes.

The UCEED exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type NAT Multiple Select Question (MSQ), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Meanwhile, Part B will include drawing and aptitude-based questions. Note that in the previous edition of the exam, Part B include only sketching-based question. So, starting UCEED 2024, the candidate also needs to prepare for aptitude based questions that will be asked in Part B. Questions for the aptitude section will evaluate the ability of the candidate to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.

In the last few months leading up to the UCEED 2026 exam, the candidate needs to follow this routine: If you have maintained a note, ensure you regularly go through the important points. Do timely revision of all the topics, especially the sticky concepts. Solve as many sample papers you can. Also take mock tests to get into the exam mood. Mocks will help you get an exam like ambience and you can get an idea as to how the question paper would be look like, the sections you need to attempt first, etc. Pay close attention to your health - sleep the full quote of hours, stay hydrated, do light exercise, and stay happy. - Don't spend so much time on it. Better move on or take help. If you have time left, you can always come back and tackle that topic.

- Make a study timetable and stick to it, no matter what
- Solve sample papers and previous year's question papers

Visual and spatial reasoning section of UCEED will include pictorial and diagrammatic questions that will evaluate candidates' understanding of the transformation and manipulation of 2D shapes and 3D objects and their spatial relationships. The candidate has to select a participating institute at the time of filling the UCEED 2026 counseling application form. The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED 2026 and college option opted for at the time of registration.
