UCEED Syllabus 2023 - The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, released the syllabus for UCEED 2023 through its information brochure. UCEED 2023 entrance exam has two parts - Part A and Part B. The syllabus is released for each part and outlines the topics candidates need to prepare for the entrance exam.
Part A of the UCEED 2023 question paper covers topics like visualization and spatial ability, observation and design sensitivity, environmental and social awareness, etc. Meanwhile, the question paper for Part B covers topics that will evaluate the drawing skills of the candidate.
UCEED 2023 entrance exam
IIT Bombay will conduct the national-level design entrance test, UCEED 2023 on January 22, 2023.
The merit rank of UCEED 2023 will be used to offer admission to the B.Des program offered by participating institutes.

General awareness of environmental factors such as climate, population, water, vegetation, pollution, weather, natural resources etc., and their implications on the design of products, images, infrastructure and environment. Analytical and logical reasoning |
Ability to look at information, be it qualitative or quantitative in nature, and discern patterns within the information. Ability to weigh opinions, arguments or solutions against appropriate criteria. Ability to check for hidden bias or hidden assumptions and whether evidence and argument support conclusions. Ability to use logic and structured thinking to deduce from a short passage, which of a number of statements is the most accurate response to a posed question. Yes, the UCEED 2023 syllabus given above is exhaustive and indicative of the types of questions that will be asked in the UCEED 2023 exam. This means the candidate isn’t required to prepare for any other topics than the ones listed here to ace the exam.
However, it may be noted that the UCEED 2023 question paper may not include questions from all the topics.
UCEED 2024 subject-wise revised Syllabus:
UCEED 2024 aspirants need to pay attention on the revised syllabus and changed topics for 2024 entrance exam. This means candidates appearing in UCEED 2024 and in later editions of the exam need to follow this new and revised syllabus given below.

In addition to the revised 2024 syllabus, IIT Bombay has also made some major changes to the UCEED entrance exam. For example, the UCEED entrance exam commencing 2024 will continue to have two Parts - Part A and Part B. However, Part B will now be of 60 minutes duration (instead of 30 minutes) and include two questions (instead of one).
