25+ Questions for NIFT CAT

CAT stands for Creative Ability Test. It is a part of NIFT Stage 1 Examination. It is conducted as a Paper-Based Test (PBT) for all UG and PG Programmes. It is conducted in the second shift of the NIFT Stage 1 Entrance Exam. Programmes like B.Des and M.Des have an NIFT Creative Ability Test. This test is conducted to check the intuitive ability, power of observation, concept development and design ability of the candidate. An important aspect of the test is the creative and innovative use of colour and illustration skills. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.

NIFT CAT requires regular practice of questions based on topics like Memory Drawing, Storytelling Through Drawing, Imagination-Based Question, Product Design, Composition, Visualisation, Transformation, Perspective Drawing, Design Thinking, Visual Metaphor, Problem-Solving Through Design, Story Illustration, Pattern Design, etc.

(ii) Use a combination of English and Hindi/regional language to create a tagline of any one of the following brands.
