DEED 2026 Application Process
Candidates willing to register for the DJ Academy of Design will have to go through the application process given below:
DJAD Application Form: The DEED 2026 application forms have been released on the institute admission portal. Candidates can fill out the application form online. Before filling out the form, applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria as ineligible forms will not be entertained. Know more about the DEED application form.
DJAD Online Interview: For the upcoming session, the DJ Academy of Design will conduct the online interview. Candidates are advised to carefully check and go through the pattern, marking scheme, and syllabus before appearing for the interview. Know more about the interview pattern & marking scheme.

The DEED Applications are usually released in the first week of Novemeber on the official website. For the Year 2025, it was released on Novemeber 01, 2025.
The DJ Academy of Design, Coimbatore, will release the eligibility criteria for DEED 2026 on its admission portal.
The candidate mustn’t apply if they don’t meet the eligibility conditions.

DEED Eligibility Criteria 2026
To be eligible for DEED B.Des admission:
- Candidates must have completed the 12th standard or its equivalent from any stream, recognized by State Boards or Central Boards (such as CBSE, ICSE, etc.), with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- Alternatively, candidates who have completed a three-year Diploma with 50% aggregate marks (after 10th Std) from any stream, from an institution recognized by AICTE/State Govt., are also eligible.
- Those currently appearing for or have completed these qualifying examinations before July of the year of admission to B.Des. can apply.
- The candidate’s age should not exceed 22 years as of 31st July in the year of application.
For M.Des
- Must have an undergraduate degree of a minimum 3 years duration in any specialization with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- or have a full time diploma of minimum 4 years duration in Design / Fine Arts / Applied Arts / Architecture with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, following from any university or institute recognized by law in India.
- Candidates must have passed, appeared for or be appearing for Diploma examinations before July of the year of admission.
- Candidate should be more than 20 years of age and less than or equal to 25 years of age as of 31st July of the year of applying.
