From COVID-19 Challenges to Success: My Journey at MANIT Bhopal

I completed my schooling in Kanpur. I scored 92.4% and 86% in my Class 10 and 12, respectively. I have always wanted to pursue Engineering. So, I started preparing for the JEE in Class 11. But then, the COVID-19 pandemic happened. Because of this, I could only attend 13 classes in total in the entire 2 years. Despite this, I, somehow managed to secure 93.4 percentile in the JEE Main exam and a decent score in the JEE Advanced exam. I always dreamt of pursuing Engineering from top colleges such as IIT, NIT, etc. However, this was not enough to secure admission to top colleges such as IIT, NIT, etc. I took a drop year and started preparing for the exams again. This time, I secured around 99 percentile in the JEE Main exam and also qualified for the JEE Advanced exam. With this rank, MANIT Bhopal was one of the best colleges that I could get.

From Doubt to Affection: My MANIT Bhopal Journey

As far as I remember, I never preferred MANIT Bhopal for my graduation. I have always thought about studying in any of the top IITS. On the first day of college, my professor asked the class how many of us wanted to get into this college. Shockingly, only 2 out of 108 students raised their hands. This surprised him as well. Then, the professor said, “You all will start loving this college after 1 month and the college will become one of the most significant parts of your life.” He was absolutely correct.

MANIT Bhopal: A Gateway to Growth and Excellence

 Getting into MANIT Bhopal was no less than an achievement for me. I chose Electrical and Electronics as my discipline at MANIT Bhopal. This college has a vast campus of over 650 acres. MANIT Bhopal has various clubs and facilities within its campus to foster the development of all students. MANIT Bhopal is a prestigious institute with excellent infrastructure and an appreciable academic environment. Established in the 1960s by the President of India, it possesses a huge alumni network that always help students in shaping their future in a better way. Many professors are truly phenomenal, while the rest are above average, which, I believe, is the most common scenario in every Engineering college. This college plays a huge role in my overall and personality development, especially. MANIT Bhopal has a robust infrastructure to support young Entrepreneurs.
