Choose this NIT if you get a good branch.

Placements: Above 90% of students in my branch get placed. You can also join various clubs related to your branch, which definitely help with placements. I even heard from my seniors that in a CSE club, the placement percentage was 100% last year, with an average package of 35 LPA.

Best college for placements and knowledge.

Placements: My batch is 2024, and my course is civil engineering. In civil engineering, placement is moderate. The maximum package in civil engineering is 24 LPA. The percentage of placement is 70, and the remaining 30 students want to work in a core company, so in my course, placement is best.

Dissatisfied due to the placement percentage last year, which was very low.

Placements: Last year, the placement record was around 86% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 30.5 LPA. The average is 13 LPA. Students from the chemical department got placed in teach, non-teach, and core fields. Very few members are pursuing this course.

Good placements but not the infrastructure as we expected.

Placements: Around 95 percent of students were placed last year, with the highest package being 80 LPA and the median package 17 LPA in Electronics and Communication. The top recruiting companies are NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Google, Microsoft, Intel, and more. Most students not only go for core jobs but also choose the software side.

The college has good placements but not the infrastructure.

Placements: Around 95 percent of students were placed last year. The highest package is 80 LPA, and the median package is 17 LPA. The top recruiting companies are NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Google, Microsoft, Intel, and more. Most of the students not only do core jobs but are also interested in non-core jobs.

Good placements, but bad for ECE.

Placements: The placement percentage is impressive, with about 85 percent of the eligible students from the ECE course getting placed. Regarding the salaries, the range is quite wide, with the absolute highest package hitting 52.09 LPA. The most representative figure for the majority is the average package at 15.05 LPA, with the median package being very close to that, at 14.00 LPA. The lowest packages seen across the engineering stream typically start around 7.5 LPA.
