Shiksha launches WBJEE College Predictor Tool

WBJEE 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on April 22. The tentative date for declaration of WBJEE 2018 results is June 5. View important dates for WBJEE 2018 here.

Through WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination), aspirants can secure admissions into UG programmes in discipline like engineering, architecture and Pharmacy on the basis of their rank in the exam.  

To help students at the crucial juncture wherein they are involved in shortlisting colleges for admissions, Shiksha has launched the WBJEE College Predictor Tool.

To use this predictor tool, candidates have to enter their rank/merit number secured in WBJEE along with other details. After filling in the required details, aspirants would be able to find out colleges/branches as well as closing ranks at which they  secure admissions in those colleges/engineering branches in the state of West Bengal.

Shiksha’s WBJEE 2018 College Predictor Tool offers multi features for students to explore Follow these simple steps to use this convenient and student-friendly tool:

Step 1: Click on the WBJEE 2018 College Predictor Tool link below:

Step 2: Enter your Rank/Merit Number and select your category from the five given categories including OP(Open/General category), SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes) and OBC (Other Backward Classes) A and B.

Step 3: Select your preferred colleges. This is an optional step which you may or may not skip.

Step 4: After filling in the above details, hit the ‘Show Results’ button to view the list of colleges you would be eligible on the basis of your WBJEE 2018 rank.

As part of results, candidates will be offered information about college, branch name, location, admission round and closing rank. Apart from this, interested candidates can also go through reviews, QnA and articles around a particular college. Students will also be able to download college brochures from this WBJEE 2018 College Predictor Tool.

This tool will also an aspirant compare two or more colleges on the basis of College Rankings, Alumni Placement Data, Exam required & Cutoffs, Course fee Affiliation & more.

To compare colleges, candidates will first have to hit the ‘Add to Compare’ box mentioned below the name of each college. One can compare maximum of four colleges at one time. After selecting colleges for comparison, click on the ‘Compare’ button. 

Please note that the College Predictor tools work on the basis of past data. The output/results should be used purely for reference purposes. Actual result of 2018 may vary. The data is based on the admissions data of WBJEE 2017.
