The placement statistics of NIT Silchar is quite good as compared with other colleges of similar rankings. If we talk about all the disciplines of NIT Silchar (B.Tech); the placement percentage, number of jobs offered and the highest package, the placement statistics of Computer Science & Engineering Branch are the best among all.
I have completed my Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2019, NIT Silchar is ranked 51 among all engineering colleges across all over India and the 9th among all the NITs.
NIT Silchar awards Bachelor of Technology Degrees in six disciplines of engineering which are the following: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
