CUET correction window 2026 has closed at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who completed and submitted the CUET 2026 application form could edit CUET subjects. The last date to edit the opted subjects was April 19. Earlier, NTA closed the CUET form correction 2026 window on February 11, 2026.

National Testing Agency conducts CUET under the Ministry of Education (MoE). The exam is conducted to provide admission to various UG and PG courses at various central universities. The CUET exam will be conducted separately for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates who qualify for the exam can get admission to various universities, such as JNU, BHU, Delhi University, etc. This article provides details about CUET application correction 2026. CUET UG 2026 Application Form Correction: Editable and Non-Editable Fields

NTA states the editable fields and those that are not editable. The following table brings the list of fields that could be edited, as well as those that NTA mentions: “If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any.”

CUET UG 2026 Form Correction - Non-Editable Details

Applicants cannot make the the following changes:

• Photograph – Image Upload

• Mobile number

• Email address

• Permanent and correspondence address

• Emergency contact details

NTA has also stated, “Those candidates who have already submitted their Application Form successfully are also eligible to choose more Subjects (Tests)/Courses (Programmes)/Universities/Institutions /Autonomous Colleges /Organisations. The candidates who have already selected five subjects/tests, can also replace/remove their earlier chosen Subjects/Tests. However, an additional fee (if applicable) for selecting more subjects (tests) will be paid by the candidate. Candidates may note that the fee once paid will not be refunded.”

If any candidate is eligible for a refund, it will be initiated only after the reconciliation of fee data received from the concerned banks/payment gateway integrators with the fee data captured during the online Application Form of CUET 2026.

How to fill CUET 2026 Application Form 

Candidates seeking admission can apply for CUET via online mode on the official website of the exam as per the steps mentioned below:

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates will have to choose two examination state and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.

Step 4: Test Paper/Subject Selection: Candidates will have to select a minimum of three and a maximum five CUET subjects or papers. Along with the subject selection, candidates will also have to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for. In case of selecting less than 10 subjects, candidates will have to select NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.

Step 5: Upload Photograph and Signature

After this step, candidates will have to verify each and every detail entered and also verify their email id. They will receive an OTP in the email id and upon entering that, they will programmed to the CUET 2026 application fee payment section.

Step 6: Application Fee Payment

Candidates had to pay the CUET 2026 registration fee online (net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet). It may be noted that candidates’ application fee status (paid/ not paid) would appear on the form.

Upon successful payment, an application confirmation message will be displayed on the screen and the confirmation message and PDF will be sent to the candidates’ registered email ID as well.

CUET UG 2026 Application Form Mistakes to Avoid

Candidates must note that the NTA can reject the CUET application form 2026. Candidates must avoid the below mistakes:

• Avoid uploading a blurred image of signature.
• Use plain white paper as the background while scanning the images.
• Make sure to upload the qualification certificates as demanded.
• Candidates must stay updated with the last date to apply
• Do not ignore any mistake as details will be used by accepting universities for admission process

What After CUET 2026 Application Correction?

Once the CUET 2026 application correction window is closed, registered candidates will be issued the CUET intimation slip and admit card online. NTA will release the CUET intimation slip 2026, tentatively 10 days before the exam date and CUET 2026 hall tickets will be issued 2-3 days before the exam date. CUET admit card and intimation slips will be released in multiple phases.
