CCMT 2026 Dates: NIT Agartala released CCMT schedule. The round 1 seat allotment result is now available. Candidates who had submitted their preferences before deadline check their CCMT 2026 cutoff (opening and closing rank) of NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes.
Through CCMT, candidates who qualified GATE are offered admission at Centralized Counselling for MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan/M.Des programmes at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The CCMT 2026 round 1 opening and closing rank will be made available soon. CCMT counselling process is conducted in rounds depending on seat availability. It involves various process, such as registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and document verification.

CCMT 2026 Registration and Choice Filling Dates
CCMT 2026 online registrations and choice-filling process is now over. Through CCMT counselling 2026, candidates are offered admission to MTech and other postgraduate programmes at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates who want to appear for the counselling process must submit their CCMT application form before due date. The online-choice filling and registration was made available online for every rounds.

A non-refundable fee of INR 3500 (for Gen, Gen-EWS or OBC) and INR 3000 (for SC/ST and PwD) must be paid for counselling registration. Registration is mandatory and must be done before the last date. Based on rank and preferences provided, students will be allocated seats.

CCMT 2026 Seat Allotment Round Dates
The CCMT seat allotment round will be released for each phase separately. The CCMT seat allotment date for rounds 1, 2, and 3 will be updated. Candidates who have registered, filled choices, and paid registration fee will be eligible to check CCMT seat allotment result using their login credentials.

CCMT 2026 Important Dates for Special Rounds
CCMT special round was conducted for leftover seats in particular institute for few branches. The list and seat intake details were updated on website. Candidates were required to ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility/course-specific requirements before filling and applying for the CCMT qualifying during choice filling. Candidates will be solely responsible for checking these special eligibility requirements. CCMT will not entertain any claims arising from its failure to comply with these special eligibility criteria. The GATE CCMT dates for special rounds have been updated on the website.

For the OBC AI category, the NIT Agartala M.Tech cutoff 2026 ranged from 321 to 488 in the first round.
As per this range, the most competitive M.Tech course specialisation was Artificial Inteligence, with the cutoff being 488. On the other hand, the least competitive branch was Chemical Engineering

The NIT Agartala M.Tech cutoff 2026 ranged from 353 to 518 in the first round for the General AI category. The NIT Agartala CCMT cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for various All India categories.

Candidates need to meet minimum qualifying mark to participate in GATE 2026 CCMT counselling. The CGPA is different for each category. The JNU M.Tech cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category varied from 338 to 529 for the M.Tech CSE and M.Tech ECE courses. In the last round, MTech CSE came out as the more competitive course, with the cutoff being 443.
