CCMT 2026 Dates: NIT Agartala released dates for CCMT spot round counselling and cutoff release on the official website. As per the official notification, the last date to physically report to the final allotted institute and deposition of balance fee by the admitted candidates of all rounds (Regular rounds, Special rounds, and NSR) was extended till August 18.
Based on the CCMT cutoff (opening and closing rank), candidates are allocated seats at NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes. The selection is done based on GATE scores. CCMT 2026 Registration and Choice Filling Dates
CCMT 2026 counselling registration is now over. NIT Agartala has complete the counselling registration, choice-filling and seat allotment process. Candidates who want to take admission to MTech programmes in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs can apply for CCMT 2026. However, they must qualify GATE exam. Candidates with valid scorecard 2026, 2025, and 2024 can register for counselling. Interested candidates had to The submit CCMT application form.

Candidates registering for CCMT 2026 must pay a non-refundable fee. The fee is different for each category, and can be checked below:
- INR 3500 (for Gen, Gen-EWS, or OBC) and
- INR 3000 for SC/ST and PwD
To participate in the counselling, registration is mandatory and based on rank and preferences provided, students will be alocated seats.

CCMT 2026 Seat Allotment Round Dates
NIT Agartala has completed conducting CCMT counselling and seat allotment for all phases. The CCMT 2026 seat allotment result determines the qualifying status of the candidate. For each round, a specific bracket of GATE scores were eligible for further admission and document verification process. The counselling for CCMT 2026 consisted of main and special round counselling. Candidates who have registered, filled choices and paid counselling admission fees were eligible to check CCMT seat allotment result using their login credentials.

NIT Agartala have completed conducting CCMT special round 2026. The special round counselling is conducted for leftover seats in particular institutes and branches. The list of CCMT vacant seats has been updated on the official website. CCMT will not entertain any claims arising from its failure to comply with these special eligibility criteria. Candidates participating the special round counselling of CCMT must keep the following documents ready:
- Birth certificate (as mentioned in class X) board certificate
- Marksheet of class XII
- Grade/Mark sheets of the qualifying examination for all semesters
- Degree certificate
- Original Caste Certificate
- Original Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable
- OBC-NCL/EWS certificate
- Proof of payment of Seat Acceptance fee
- Three color passport size photographs
- Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
- Original Transfer certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
Candidates are advised to carry original and photocopy of the documents of above.
