No, to get admission into IIT Madras MTech course, students have to appear for the GATE exam. This is a part of minimum eligibility criteria for M.Tech course admissions. After clearing the GATE exam, the students are selected on the basis of merit list. The students have to obtain a minimum of 60% in their UG course to be eligiblr for admisison.

At Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore, students get to choose from various M.Tech specialisations. For each specialisation, the institute provides a different number of seats. Among all the specialisations, Artificial Intelligence, Automotive Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Cyber Security, and Data Science have the highest intake, with 30 seats each.

For Anna University undergraduate courses, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates). However, Class 12 marks is not enough to apply for Anna University UG courses such as BE/ BTech. For Anna University BTech admission, candidates are also required to appear for TNEA counselling process. Basis of which Anna University will allocate the seats for BTech admission. For TNEA counselling, the University will consider the Class 12 marks. For Anna University PG admission, the minimum eligibility requirement is to have a graduation degree from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Earlier, SASTRA University application process was conducted in both online and offline modes. However, 2022 onwards, the process has shifted completely to online mode.

 The total tuition fee for Kalasalingam University B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is INR 7.40 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 10,000, and a hostel fee of amount INR 2.42 Lacs that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. To get admitted to Kalasalingam University B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering course, applicants must meet the entry requirements - 45% in 12th.
