Absolutely satisfied with teaching quality and peaceful campus surroundings. Placements: In our college about 70% of students are placed in many streams like MBA and Nautical Field. The average salary offered at IMU is 7 lac per annum with the highest package offered being 12 lac per annum and the lowest is 5.5 lac. This university is a good choice for the marine engineering course. Placements: If one is going for marine engineering then it is a good choice to get into IMU Kolkata (MERI/DMET). For my batch before passing out from college, about 50% of cadets were placed and the count is increasing day by day.
