JKCET 2026 Application Form: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has started the JKCET registration. Candidates can apply uisng JKCET 2026 registration link available on this page or from the official website jkbpee.gov.in. The last date to fill application form is April 1, 2026. Candidates must fill JKCET 2026 application form before the last date to appear in the exam.

Eligibility to Apply for JKCET 2026 Exam

Candidates can check below the eligibility to apply for the JKCET exam. It is advised that candidates ensure they fulfill all the conditions of eligibility, failing which their application form can be cancelled.

Q:   Is there any facility for correction in the JKCET application form after submission?

There are no provisions for correction in details filled in the online JKCET application form. Once the application form is submitted and the application fee is paid, the forms cannot be accessed for editing or any sort of correction. Therefore candidates must carefully read, fill and submit the JKCET application form. The details in the application form will be used in admit card, the result and also in the final admission/counselling. Hence the candidates must be very cautious while submitting the JKCET form. Check all details twice before the final submission of the form.

Q:   What scanned documents are needed to be uploaded in the JKCET application form?

The application fee to apply for JKCET is INR 1000. To pay application fee, candidates have to use online payment method.

  • The fee can only be paid online before last date of application submission.
  • Fee payment option will be given only after candidate locks his/her preferences.

Q:   Is there any age limit to apply for JKCET?

There is no upper age bar for appearing in JKCET for admission to Engineering Courses, both in Government and Private Colleges. However, candidates must have the domicile certificate of UT of J&K or ST certificate issued by a competent Authority of UT of Ladakh be treated as the Domicile certificate of UT of Ladakh and 10+2 passed/passing in the curren year of JKCET exam.

Documents Needed to Upload in JKCET Application Form

The candidates have to upload the below-given scanned documents in the online form, as applicable.

  • Certificate of residence proof of domicile UT of J&K or Ladakh as the case may be
  • Marks certificate of the class 12/ equivalent qualifying exam issued by the concerned Board
  • Matriculation or equivalent exam certificate indicating Date of Birth issued by the respective Boards
  • Reserved category candidates claiming benefits of reservation under Sports, JKPM, CDP and TFW quota have to upload a copy of their category certificate along with the online application form within the prescribed last date. However, their eligibility shall be considered at par with Open Merit candidates.
  • Candidates have to upload a scanned copy of a recent photo, signature and thumb Impression.

Fee Payment of JKCET Application Form 2026

After filling in details in application form, candidates have to pay prescribed JKCET application fee. Candidates have to click on 'Pay' button for fee payment. Candidates can pay fee online through debit card, credit card, and net banking. After successful payment, a transaction acknowledgement page with transaction details will be displayed on screen.

Documents Upload

Candidates have to upload documents such as a reserved category certificate (if applicable), photo, signature, thumb impression, etc. The photo, signature, and thumb impression should be in JPG/JPEG format.

The schedule for JKCET 2026 counselling is not announced yet. The registration for counselling is expected to start in April/May post declaration of results. Candidates are advised to follow the Shiksha page and the JKCET official website for updates on the counselling schedule.

The allotment of seats in JKCET counselling will be basis the choices filled by the candidate and the rank. It is advised that candidates fill as many choices they can to increase their chances of getting a college. Also, the choices filled must be in order of preference.
