- In the first step, the candidate needs to download or purchase the SUJEE application form.

- Aspirants must have passed Class 12th examination (Pre-University Board Examination) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Any State Board / Central Board should have recognised the same.
- The student must have a fundamental knowledge of computers and programming.
- Candidate must have passed HSC (Std. XII) State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects(optional subjects are Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology & Technical Vocational).
- Aspirants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of Backward Class candidates) in any one of the optional subjects.
