JKCET 2026 Exam Date
Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) will soon announce the JKCET 2026 exam date. It is expected that the exam will be held in April. JKCET test will have 3 sections comprising Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 180 questions (60 questions from each section) with a time duration of 3 hours. The questions will be multiple choice objective types with 1 mark each. There is a 0.25 negative mark for each wrong answer.

JKCET 2026 Admit Card
The hall ticket for appearing in the exam will be issued to all registered candidates. Aspirants must download their JKCET 2026 admit card and take its printout. JKCET counselling will have 2 rounds and one mop-up round. A final, special counselling round can be held if needed.

JKCET stands for Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). Candidates striving for admission to BE/BTech programme in the government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir can register for JKCET. After qualifying for JKCET, candidates will become eligible for admission to various courses under BE/BTech like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering.
In case JKCET is not held, the merit list shall be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (12th class). The candidates who are declared qualified in the JKCET exam, have to then appear in the online counselling process.
JKCET 2026 result will be announced in April 2026.
