IBPS RRB normalization is a process used to adjust the difficulty level of the question paper spread across various sessions. This is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. Result is calculated based on this.

IBPS RRB PO cutoff is different from IBPS RRB Clerk cut off. The cut off is applied on the overall score and individual sections. IBPS RRB cutoff is released category-wise and state-wise. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cutoff marks are declared qualified in each stage of the exam. IBPS RRB prelims exam is expected to be high due to the increase in competition. It is important to score good marks to stand out from the competition. 70 marks are considered to be good. Attempting at least 30 to 35 questions in reasoning and Quant with 100 percent accuracy will help to get good marks.

For the IBPS RRB PO interview, a total of 100 marks are allotted. The weightage of the Online Examination to the Interview is 80:20, respectively. Candidates need to secure 40 per cent in the interview.  While for those belonging to ST/SC/OBC/PWD categories, the qualifying percentage is slightly lower at 35 per cent. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and interview.

IBPS RRB Cerk cut off 2024 is given below.

Scores obtained by candidates in IBPS RRB exam are calculated based on the marking scheme. Candidates score one mark for correct answers. 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers in the exam.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview is not less than 40 per cent (35 per cent for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates). The relative weightage given to the Mains exam and Interview for the provisional allotment is 80:20 respectively for the Officers cadre. The combined final score of candidates is arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the Mains for the post of Officers Scale I and in the Single Level Examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process is not disclosed. Candidates should qualify both in the Mains exam and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process. The provisional allotment is done based on merit-cum-preference. For Officers in Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment is restricted within the RRBs of the State opted for.

In the event of two or more candidates having obtained the same score, merit order is decided as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before/ above the candidate junior in age), as per the prevailing practice

IBPS RRB cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam. IBPS RRB cut off is applied on different sections and overall/total marks. IBPS RRB cut off for the prelims exam is calculated out of 80 marks. IBPS RRB Mains cut off is calculated out of 200 marks. The provisional allotment cut off is calculated out of 100 marks. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are declared qualified in each stage of selection process. As the exam is conducted in different shifts, the cut off is calculated after normalising the marks of candidates. Normalisation of IBPS RRB cut off is done to maintain transparency in the examination process.
