
OTET exam pattern 2025 has been prescribed by the BSE Odisha. The OTET exam comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates need to appear for OTET Paper 1 if they want to teach Classes 1-5 and candidates need to appear for Paper 2 if they want to teach Classes 6-8. The OTET exam pattern differs for both papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2 in terms of the number of subjects and the total number of questions. OTET Exam Pattern 2025 for Paper 1
OTET exam pattern 2025 for Paper 1 is such that there will be 150 multiple-choice questions in the exam that candidates need to complete in a 2.5-hour duration. For further clarification, candidates can refer the table below:

It may be noted that in each subject area, 20 questions are from content and 10 questions are from Pedagogy.
Marking scheme: One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam.

OTET Exam Pattern 2025 for Paper 2
Similar to the pattern for Paper 1, the OTET 2025 exam pattern for Paper 2 is such that the question paper will contain a total of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours.
