RBI Assistant Application Form: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will soon release RBI Assistant 2025 application form. The direct link to fill the application for RBI Assistant  is given on this page. The application fee for RBI Assistant exam is INR 450 for OBC/General/EWS categories and INR 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS. Q:   When RBI Assistant 2025 application form will be released?
A: 

RBI Assistant application form 2025 will be released online by RBI. The application form needs to be filled online and candidates need to complete all the steps of application process successfully. The steps to fill RBI Assistant application form are given below:

  • Go to the official website or follow the link
  • Click on the link-'New Registration link
  • Enter the required details to register for the exam
  • Click on the 'Submit' button
  • Registration number and password are generated
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature
  • Fill in other details such as exam centers, address detail, educational qualification & work experience, etc.
  • Pay the application fees
  • Submit the application form and take its printout
Q:   Can a 12th pass apply for RBI Assistant?
A: 

Candidates cannot apply for RBI Assistant exam after completing Class 12. To be eligible for the exam, candidates need to be a graduate. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline. The age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/09/1995 and not later than 01/09/2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions inorder to be eligible for the exam.

Q:   Can reserved category candidates apply against unreserved category vacancies for RBI Assistant exam?
A: 

Reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS may apply against unreserved vacancies, if vacancies have not been reserved for their category in their state. However, they must fulfil the eligibility criteria for age and educational qualification at par with unreserved candidates. They will, however, be eligible for fee concession (as applicable),  but will have to pay specified intimation charges.

  • Visit RBI 
  • Click the 'New Registration' link
  • In the registration form, candidates need to enter the name, mobile number, email ID as given below
  • Upon successful registration, candidates will be provided with the provisional registration number and password

Uploading of Photograph and Signature 

Candidates need to upload their photograph and signature as required format

Filling the detailed application form 

Enter the educational qualification, choose exam centre for preliminary and mains exam etc.

Candidates should upload the photograph and signature in the RBI Assistant application form as per the specifications prescribed by the examination authority. The specifications for the photograph and signature are given below: Photograph Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred) Size of file should be between 20KB and 50 KB Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB Signature Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred) Size of file should be between 10 KB and 20 KB Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB. Q:   What is RBI Assistant selection process?
A: 
The selection process includes preliminary and Mains exams followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The prelims exam is divided into three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The total duration of the preliminary exam is 60 minutes. The Mains exam carries questions from Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The marks of the Mains exam are taken into consideration for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam are called for LPT.
