RRB Syllabus 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) conduct various recruitment exams to fill vacancies in different departments of the Indian Railways including RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories), RRB JE (Junior Engineer), RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) and RRB Group D exams. Candidates appearing in these exams need to be well-prepared to ace the exam. The Railway Recruitment Board prescribes RRB NTPC syllabus for CBT 1 and 2. The syllabus is mentioned in the official recruitment notification. The exam is conducted to select candidates for various posts such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Station Master, etc in the Indian Railways. It is highly competitive exam and the knowledge of RRB NTPC syllabus is important to crack the exam. The syllabus of RRB NTPC highlights the topics that candidates need to cover for the exam. Q:   How many questions are asked in RRB Group D exam?
A: 
The question paper of RRB Group D comprises a total of 100 questions. There are a total of 25 questions each in General Science and Mathematics. Total 30 questions are asked in General Intelligence and Reasoning section and 20 in General Awareness and Current Affairs. RRB Group D exam is conducted for the post of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman and other Level-I posts. Railway RRB NTPC Syllabus 2025

RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select candidates for graduate and undergraduate posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) in various zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways. RRB NTPC Syllabus for CBAT

RRB NTPC syllabus for CBAT comprises Intelligence Test, Selective Attentive Test, Spatial Scanning Test, Information Ordering and Personality Test. The exam is conducted for Traffic Assistants and Station Masters. This exam comprises different test batteries that comprise five to six tests. 

RRB NTPC Syllabus for Typing Test

Typing test is conducted for Senior Time Keeper, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist, and Senior Clerk Cum Typist posts. In this test, candidates are required to type 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Q:   What is RRB Group D exam pattern?
A: 

The CBT of RRB Group D exam comprises four sections-General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Total marks allotted to CBT are 100. Based on the marks obtained in CBT, candidates are called for PET. The PET is qualifying in nature. Those who qualify the PET are called for document verification. Final empanellment of candidates is done based on the performance in CBT subject to their qualifying the document verification and medical exam. The structure of RRB Group D exam pattern is given below.

Q:   What is RRB NTPC Typing Test Syllabus?
A: 

Typing Test is conducted for the Senior Time Keeper, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist, and Senior Clerk Cum Typist posts. The test is conducted in Hindi/ English language. The total duration of the test will be 10 minutes. Candidates are required to type 30 word per minute in English and 25 word per minute in Hindi. Editing and spell check facility are disabled on the computer.

RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary range offered to undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. While, the graduate post employees are offered RRB NTPC salary in the range of INR 25,500 to INR 35,400. The monthly basic salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900 while it is INR 35,400 for Station Master and Commercial Apprentice.
