RRB Syllabus 2024: The RRB conducts recruitment for various posts to different departments of the Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) conduct various exams for recruitment to the post of Non-Technical Popular Categories (RRB NTPC), Junior Engineer (RRB JE), Assistant Loco Pilot (RRB ALP), and RRB Group D. Candidates appearing in the various exams conducted by the RRBs are advised to go through the Railway syllabus. RRBs release the RRB syllabus for various railway exams along with the notification. The Railway Recruitment Board gives the detailed syllabus of all the examinations on the respective notification. The railway exam syllabus includes sections, topics, and sub-topics from where questions are asked in the exam.

The railway syllabus is different for the different posts the Railway exam is conducted. Candidates must prepare as per the Railway syllabus since questions are framed based on the topics given in the same. Q:   How many questions are asked in RRB Group D exam?

A:
The question paper of RRB Group D comprises a total of 100 questions. There are a total of 25 questions each in General Science and Mathematics. Total 30 questions are asked in General Intelligence and Reasoning section and 20 in General Awareness and Current Affairs. RRB Group D exam is conducted for the post of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman and other Level-I posts. Q:   What are the different sections of RRB NTPC exam?

RRB NTPC exam comprises subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness. The subjects included in CBT 1 and 2 are the same. However, the difficulty level varies as per the stage of exam. The CBT 1 exam of RRB NTPC is conducted for 100 marks. The CBT 2 exam of RRB NTPC is held for 120 marks. Q:   What is the difficulty level of RRB Group D exam?

A:
The difficulty level of RRB Group D exam is of moderate level as the syllabus is of Class 10 standard. In RRB Group D 2022 exam, the General Awareness section was moderate, General Science section was moderate, Maths section was moderate, General Intelligence and Reasoning section was moderate. To prepare for RRB Group D exam, candidates can practice previous years' question papers, solve mock tests, go through the exam pattern and syllabus, etc.

Railway RRB Syllabus 2024 for Group D exam

RRB Group D exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts in Level-1 of the seventh CPC pay matrix such as Helper/Assistant Pointsman, Track Maintainer Grade-IV, and many more in various departments of Indian Railways. RRB Group D exam comprises three stages of selection, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical exam. RRB Group D Syllabus for CBT comprises topics from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Q:   What is the standard of the RRB Group D syllabus?

A:

The standard of the RRB Group D syllabus is of the Class 10 level. Therefore, candidates can refer to their high school books for clearing the basic concepts. The questions asked in the exam are basic and candidates can solve them easily if they have practiced the previous years' question papers. A:
The important topics for RRB Group D Mathematics are Number System Decimals, Ratio and Proportion, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, etc. This section aims to test the candidate's calculative skills. Basic questions are asked in this section about which candidates have studied in high school. To prepare for RRB Group D exam, candidates must practice previous years question papers.
 

Q:   What is RRB NTPC salary?

A:

RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary range offered to undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. While, the graduate post employees are offered RRB NTPC salary in the range of INR 25,500 to INR 35,400. The monthly basic salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900 while it is INR 35,400 for Station Master and Commercial Apprentice. Candidates are also entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), pension benefits, and medical reimbursements. Railway Syllabus 2024 for NTPC exam

RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select candidates for graduate and undergraduate posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) in various zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways. RRB NTPC exam pattern is such that it is divided into first-stage CBT, second-stage CBT, CBAT, typing skill test, and document verification/medical examination.

RRB NTPC Syllabus for CBAT

RRB NTPC syllabus for CBAT comprises Intelligence Test, Selective Attentive Test, Spatial Scanning Test, Information Ordering and Personality Test. The exam is conducted for Traffic Assistants and Station Masters. This exam comprises different test batteries that comprise five to six tests. 

RRB NTPC Syllabus for Typing Test

Typing test is conducted for Senior Time Keeper, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist, and Senior Clerk Cum Typist posts. In this test, candidates are required to type 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.

A:

It does not really matter how many hours do you study, what matters is how much knowledge you gain. A focused study of one to two hours daily will definitely help you in achieving your goals.
