RBI Assistant admit card is released online separately for different phases of exams such as prelims and Mains. The admit card is released one week before the exam To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. RBI Assistant admit card is an important document without which candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. RBI Assistant prelims exam is held for one hour while the Mains exam is held for 135 minutes. Each section of the prelims exam is held for 20 minutes. In the Mains exam, Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language and Test of Numerical Ability are held for 30 minutes. The sectional timing for Test of General Awareness is 25 minutes. No, there is no required bond period after being chosen as an RBI Assistant. After getting selected, you will have to undergo a six-month probationary period before getting a permanent posting as an RBI Assistant. However, there is a mandatory two-year service or bond period to be considered for promotion. This is for those who want to apply for the promotion to the manager-level post in RBI after getting selected as assistants. After serving two years, the assistants in RBI become eligible for merit-based promotions to higher-level posts.

The selection process includes preliminary and Mains exams followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The prelims exam is divided into three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The total duration of the preliminary exam is 60 minutes. The Mains exam carries questions from Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The marks of the Mains exam are taken into consideration for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam are called for LPT.

In RBI Assistant there is no interview. However, candidates qualifying the Mains exam are required to appear for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). During LPT, candidates are assessed whether they can speak and write the language of the state they have applied for. The selection process of RBI Assistant comprises prelims and mains exams. The interview process has been discontinued from the lower level post. The prelims exam of RBI Assistant comprises three sections-English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The mains exam of RBI Assistant comprises five sections-Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are  200.

The total marks for RBI Assistant prelims exam are 100 while it is 200 for the Mains exam. There is no weightage for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Candidates must be able to speak, write and understand the local language of the state they have applied for. According to RBI Assistant marking scheme, for correct answers, candidates score one mark. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. RBI Assistant application fee is INR 450 for OBC/General/EWS candidates, while it is INR 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS. The application fee of RBI Assistant can be paid online by using debit card/credit card, net banking, mobile wallets, etc. The application fee once paid by candidates will not be refunded by the examination authority. The basic pay of RBI Assistant is INR 20700. Candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc. , as admissible from time to time. The payscale is INR 20700-1200 (3)-24300- 1440 (4) -30060-1920 (6)-41580-2080 (2)-45740-2370 (3)-52850- 2850-55700 (20 years). Candidates are entitled to Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately INR 45,050.

RBI offers an attractive RBI Assistant salary along with numerous allowances and benefits. Candidates also receive increments at regular intervals. RBI Assistant receives a basic pay of INR 20,700 along with certain increments and the salary is expected to sure in five years. RBI Assistant salary after 5 years is INR 24300 per month including other allowances. The RBI Assistant  receives a handsome salary package, along with numerous allowances and benefits. RBI Assistant salary is INR 14,24,834 per year. Candidates selected to the post of RBI Assistant are responsible for maintaining files including collection of receipts, maintaining of ledger, balance tally, etc., Data Entry, Relying to Mails, Relying to RTI, Issue of Currencies, Verifying Banking Documents, etc.

Deducations in RBI Assistant salary is done like EE NPS Contribution, Professional Tax for specific periods, Meal Coupon costs, MAF, a fee for All India RBI Employee, and other charges. In total, about INR 3,575 is taken out from their gross pay each month. A detailed breakdown is given below.
