RRB Group D Exam Centres 2025: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will announce RRB Group D exam centres four days before the exam. To check the exam city for CBT, candidates need to enter user ID and password. In the RRB Group D exam city intimation slip for CBT, candidates can check the allotted exam city for the exam. However, RRB Group D exam centre details for CBT along with the timings and dates are mentioned on the RRB Group D admit card. Knowing the exam city for RRB Group D, candidates can make travel arrangements accordingly. The city intimation slip does not authorise candidates to appear for the exam. Candidates are allowed to appear for the exam only if the RRB Group D admit card is issued.

RRB Group D Exam Centres 2025

Candidates will be required to choose RRB Group D exam centres while filling their application forms. Usually, RRBs allot exam centres as per the preferences given by the candidates. In case of a shortage of seats in a particular centre, candidates are allotted to the next available centre. RRB Group D exam is conducted to fill up vacancies in Level 1 posts such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman, etc. Candidates can check below the list of exam cities for the RRB Group D CBT exam.

The items that are banned inside the RRB Group D exam centres are Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators,  wrist watches or any other communication devices or pen/pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes and metallic wears including ornaments etc. Any infringement of this instruction shall entail summary rejection besides legal action including debarment from future examinations. Q:   What are the documents that candidates need to carry to the RRB Group D exam centre?

Candidates are required to fill the details of a valid Photo ID card in the application which they are required to bring in original as identity proof during CBT, PET, DV, Medical or any subsequent stages of exam. The valid Photo ID Card should be any one of the following:

  • Voter Card
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Printout of e-Aadhaar (not Photostat/Scanned copy of Aadhaar)
  • Driving License
  • PAN card
  • Passport
  • Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt. employee
  • College / University Photo ID card, if still studying

RRB Group D exam city intimation slip is released 10 days before the exam. In the exam city intimation slip, candidates can check the details of exam centres. Candidates should not consider the city intimation slip as the admit card. The admit card is released four days before the exam.

Q:   Will I receive the hard copy of RRB Group D city intimation slip?
A: 

RRB Group D city intimation slip is released 10 days before the exam. The city intimation slip needs to be downloaded online only. RRB Group D city intimation slip is released so that candidates can know their allotted test city and make their travel plans accordingly. 

Q:   Can I change my state in the RRB group D form?
A: 

Yes, candidates can change their states in the RRB Group D exam. This can be done by first choosing 'Application Modification' which is available in the home page of the registration portal. After candidates have chosen the preferred state, they need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 100 for modifying the application. Once candidates have successfully paid the application fee they can make the necessary changes and then submit it. Please note that candidates will not be able to edit your registration number, email id, mobile number, and your zone. Candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250.

Q:   How to avail the free rail travel facility for RRB Group D exam?
A: 
The free rail travel facility (Sleeper class railway pass) for RRB Group D is available only for SC/ST candidates. The admit card for such candidates contains the free travel authority. Candidates are allowed to book tickets only on submission of the self-attested photocopy of the RRB Group D admit card and SC/ST Certificate. Candidates must carry the original SC/ST Certificate and one prescribed photo-identity proof in original during their journey.

You need to download your RRB Group D admit card from the zone you have applied for the exam. To download the admit card, you need to go to the respective official websites and click on the admit card download link. Candidates can download their admit cards from the zone they have applied for. The link to download the admit card is made available on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter user ID and password. RRB Group D admit card comprises details such as roll number, registration number, candidate’s signature, candidate’s photograph, exam slot, google map link, reporting time, date of birth, exam date, etc. In case of any discrepancies in details, candidates must report to the examination authority for correction.
