RRB NTPC Application Form 2025 (OUT): Status Check Link & Steps to Apply Online

RRB NTPC application status is released few days after the declaration of the result. Candidates can check your application status of RRB NTPC with the direct link from the RRB Zone candidates have applied for. To check your status candidates need their Registration Number and Date of Birth. On this portal candidates can check whether their application form has been accepted or rejected. Only those candidates will be issued RRB NTPC admit card whose application forms were accepted.

If the candidate is eligible for more than one post based on his/her educational qualification and other details, they should set the priority for the posts. The list of posts (in the chosen RRB) for which a candidate is eligible is displayed. Similarly, if the
chosen RRB has vacancies for more than one Railway/Production Unit, then vacancies for all such Railways/Production Units for which a candidate is eligible, will be listed out. The candidate should fill their priority/preferences number in the textbox against each post that they are eligible for, in the RRB they are applying to.

RRBs reject the RRB NTPC application form if the photographs of candidates are not valid. The photograph should be in JPEG format and the size of photograph should be between 30-70KB. Candidates are advised to upload their photographs correctly to avoid rejection in the application form. The photograph should be uploaded as per the specifications prescribed by the examination authority. The reasons for rejection of RRB NTPC application are given below:

• Invalid photos on account of Black and White photo, photo with cap or wearing Goggles. Photos which are disfigured, small size, full body, showing only one side view of the face, unrecognizable photos, photostatcopy of photo, group photo,
  selfie photo, photo taken by mobile, morphed photo and online application without photo among others.
  Signature in capital/block letters
• Not possessing the prescribed qualification for the post(s) as on the closing date of registration
• Over-aged or under-aged or Date of Birth wrongly filled
• Multiple applications to different RRBs or to same RRB. In such case, all applications will be rejected and such candidates will be debarred from future RRB/RRC exams
• Candidate's name figuring in the debarred list of any RRB/RRC
• Incomplete or incorrectly filled application
• Any other irregularities which are observed and considered as invalid by RRB

In RRB NTPC registration form, candidates need to enter their name, date of birth, father's name, mother's name, Aadhaar number, SSLC/Matric roll number, year of passing, mobile number and email-ID. Before submitting the registration, ensure and confirm that all the information given are correct. The registration details cannot be changed later. Candidates should note that their email and mobile numbers will be verified during the Online Application process with a One Time Password (OTP).. .

RRBs provide candidates with the facility to modify RRB NTPC application form. Candidates can modify the details entered in the application form online by paying the required modification fees. The process how candidates can modify the details entered in the application form are given below:

• Login using Registration Number and Password
• Pay modification fee through any of the modes available for actual examination fee payment. Ensure payment is done well within the date and time prescribed
• Click on the Modify Application‘ Button
• Proceed with the changes intended as per instructions given and submit the application. Preserve the print out of the latest application for record

After final submission of RRB NTPC application form, in case candidates wish to make minor changes in the application form other than RRB email and mobile number, can do so by paying the modification fee of INR 100. The modification fee is applicable to all candidates including fee concession categories and this fee is not refunded for any category. In case, candidates wish to change their communities (from SC/ST to your/OBC), they need to pay the difference in examination fee I. e. INR 250 in addition to the modification fee. Similarly, if a candidate is switching from Ex.SM/PwBD/Female/Transgender to your/OBC (NCL)/Non Ex.SM/Non PwBD/Male etc. , need to pay the difference in examination fee I. e. INR 250 in addition to the modification fee.

The application fees for the RRB NTPC exam can be paid online and offline. On completion of the application process, candidates are directed to the payment page to choose payment mode-Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challans as explained in Para 7 and complete the payment process. If there is a failure of online payments, candidates have to make another transaction. For those paying through offline mode, the payment confirmation may take two hours. In case of payment of fee through post office, the payment conformation may vary from 24 hours to 48 hours. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class.

Candidates who appear in the first stage CBT are eligible for the refund of examination fee as per details. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. Candidates who do not wish to receive the refund in the account should provide the details of the beneficiary account in which they wish to receive the refund such as beneficiary name, account number, name of bank and IFSC Code in the application form.

RRB NTPC 2025 application status 2025 was released by RRBs. Candidates can check their application status by logging with the required credentials. The application status displays whether the candidate's online form has been accepted or rejected. If the form gets rejected, the examination authority have provided the reason for rejection.

RRB NTPC application form 2024 for undergraduate posts was released on September 21, 2024. The last date to fill the application form is October 27, 2024. Candidates can pay the application fee was October 28 to 29, 2024. The modification window for correction in the application form with payment of the modification fee is October 30 to November 6, 2024.

The application fee of RRB NTPC can be paid online only. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class. The application fees is refunded to candidates once candidates appear in the CBT.

RRB NTPC application form for Graduate posts was released on September 14, 2024. The last date to apply for this post was October 20, 2024. RRB NTPC application form 2024 for undergraduate posts was released on September 21, 2024. The last date to apply for the exam was October 27, 2024. Interested candidates need to fill the application form online only. The application fee can be paid both online and offline. In 2022, a total of 1.25 crore application forms were received for RRB NTPC exam. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of RRB NTPC application form. The steps to fill the application form are given below:

• Visit the official websites of RRBs
• Click on the 'RRB NTPC Apply Online' link on the home page
• Candidates need to register for the exam such as name, category, date of birth, email ID, contact number, and academic details among others
• After submitting the details, a provisional user ID and password are
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature
• Candidates need to fill the educational qualification and other details
• Candidates should preview the application form
• Candidates need to upload the left thumb impression and handwritten declaration
• Pay the application fees and submit the application form

RRB NTPC 2025 application correction window for graduate posts was available from October 23 to 30, 2024. The correction window for undergraduate posts was available from October 30 to November 6, 2024. If candidates wish to modify, change or correct any details except details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form (including email ID and mobile number) and chosen RRB, they may do so by paying a modification fee of INR 250 (non-refundable) for each occasion. 

The application fees is accepted only online. RRBs have withdrawn the facility to pay the application form offline. RRB NTPC application form 2024 was released on September 14, 2024. The application fees can be paid from October 21 to 22, 2024. The application fee is INR 500 for general category applicants, while it is INR 250 for Women, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen.

After creating an account for RRB NTPC exam, candidates must go to the 'home page. Under the 'Apply' tab, select 'Already have an account' from the dropdown menu. Sign in to your account. There are five broad sections: Personal Details, Other Details, Educational Qualification, Upload Profile Documents, Preference and Preview & Submit. After entering personal details, save and proceed to the next section and continue in this manner until candidate reach the last section ‘Preference and Preview & Submit’ where candidate can finally submit the application. Complete the fee payment process. Finally, take a printout of the application containing the registration number.

Aadhaar validation is required to ensure genuineness of candidature and to curb impersonation during exam. RRBs will not share Aadhaar details with any third party or use them for any purpose other than the objectives of RRB NTPC application form. The application form needs to be filled online only. Candidates must submit their applications within the prescribed deadline.

Candidates can give details of any of the following documents, if they do not have Aadhaar:
i. Driving License
ii. Passport
iii. PAN
iv. Voter ID
v. Employee ID (Govt.)
vi. School/College/University (if still studying)
The selected document in online application should be produced during the CBT, DV & ME etc.

The reasons for rejection of the RRB NTPC application form are invalid photograph, wrong date of birth, incorrect details, multiple applications, etc. Candidates should enter the details carefully to avoid any rejection of the application form. Candidates should fill the RRB NTPC application form online only. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. On submitting the primary details in the RRB NTPC application form, OTPs are sent to the registered mobile number and email. The candidate should retrieve the OTPs from email and mobile and then enter OTPs to proceed with filling up the RRB NTPC application form. On successful OTP activation, registration number is generated and sent on the registered email ID and mobile number.

Candidates can also raise queries, if any, with the RRBs regarding RRB NTPC application form. While writing a query, candidates need to mention their registered email ID. In the case of RRB NTPC application form status failure or any error message, they need to provide the specific error message. Additionally, candidates can provide details including operating systems, internet browsers, and versions.

Speed for online application is based on various factors such as internet speed, a large number of applicants trying to view the application at the same time. If you are able to view the page immediately, retry after a gap of 15 minutes. Make sure your internet has a good speed of at least one MBps. Candidates need to apply online for the exam.
